To deny means to reject your own desires or to give up the things you love for the sake of something else. Therefore, when the bible speaks of denying oneself, means denying everything for Christ’s sake. Once you are willing to follow Christ means you are willing also to give up almost all the things you love even if they seem to be good before your eyes. You put them down, and carry those of Christ alone. That’s why the apostle Paul said.

Philippians 3:7-8 (KJV)

⁷ But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

⁸ Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

See, this is number one pillar that proves, a person has truly followed Jesus. People who repent from their sin are many, but people who have meant to follow Jesus are very few. Once you became a Christian woman, you must be ready to drop all your short dresses and trousers which you were past wearing before you came to Christ, otherwise, don’t say I’m a Christian.

Same applies to men, If you claim to have followed Jesus, be sure you had said bye to the world, you had dropped all your cigarettes, all you alcohols, and all your girlfriends you past had..And all other things which can seem to look good before your eyes but not before Jesus’s eyes.

And now when the Lord sees you have meant to stop them seriously. He now came to you and make you his disciple just as he did to his 12 disciples among hundreds of them who were following him.

Remember that this should be a continuous process, every day you deny yourself. Even in doing God’s work, you are must deny yourself..The time when you were supposed to be on your business, you sacrificed it for the Gospel…As the bible also speak of praying, we ought to pray always even to sacrifice  our bed for prayers. Everything which we think we can do for God, needs sacrifice. we must lose our souls for God. But above all, the lord said we will find them instead. Because he said, he knows the plans he had for us, are of good, and to of bad, to give us hope, in our last days.

That’s why we don’t feel bad, when we hear he told us to leave everything behind for his sake..We know  its benefits if not in this world, we will come to see it in the world to come, Because he knows the good plan he had for us. It is better to be seen by people you lost everything for Christ’s sake than to gain all the world and lost eternal life.  What will benefit you?

²⁴ Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

²⁵ For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Question: Who is this Jeshurun in the Bible? And why did he become fat and despise the rock of his salvation (Deut. 32:15)?

Answer: Jeshurun ​​is another name for the nation of Israel used in the Jewish Bible, particularly in the poems. This word appears 4 times in the Bible read (Deuteronomy 32:15, 33:26, 33: 5 and Isaiah 44: 2).

So if we go back to Deuteronomy 32:15-18  (KJV)
It says ..

¹⁶ They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger.

¹⁸ Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee. ”

These words Moses spoke in the wilderness, as a prophecy to show how Israel will soon forget their God when they come to the promised land, The lando of milk and honey, to their prosperity, to the land of their birth, the land of no more deserts, nor to eat of the same food, the land  to trade and prosper and become rich, In for that they will forget their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt, they will forget the God they trusted in the desert when they were hungry, they will despise him and turn to other gods. And the prophecy came to pass exactly just as Moses predicted In the future when they arrived in the promised land.

So if you meet that Word Yeshurun, now that is another name for Israel.

Even today it is common for people to seek God in times of difficulty only, but when they are successful , or when they need nothing, they are healthy, they have wealth, God is no longer a refuge for them. That is why the Lord Jesus said it is easier for a camel to penetrate a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. It does not mean we should not be rich but we must use wisdom in asking God to give us what is in our ability, lest we become as fat as Jeshurun ​​and forget God, as Agur the son o Jakeh advised us in Proverbs 30:9.

Who is Melchizedek?

God’s Word tells us in 1 Timothy 3:16 that ”  Without controversy great is the mystery of godliness.” which means that to know the mystery of divinity of God, one must seriously seek a help from God to understand it, otherwise you will know nothing about his divine agenda .  It encourages us to ask God to reveal us so that we can get to know Him day by day.

Remember here in this  great mystery, is where the great division and confusion between Christianity and other faiths such as Islam rises, and here is where the other great divisions even among the Christians themselves rise.

But we will not enter there today, but we will briefly look at who Melchizedek is, by referring to some passages of Scripture. Now remember the Bible makes it very clear, that Christ existed before there was anything in the world.

John 8:57-58  (KJV)

⁵⁷ Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?

⁵⁸ Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

You see But the question is how did we come to be? This is a question that even many Christians today fail to answer correctly. We will say John 1: 1. It proves that in the beginning there was a Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God, who is JESUS. Thus Jesus was in heaven from the beginning with His Father until the time He came down to save us.

But we do not know that this JESUS ​​who appears in nature, did not exist from the beginning. His journey began in AD 1, we will see that as we move forward.

As the Bible says at the beginning there was a “Word”, so by its very nature NOT a person, This is the Greek word Logos, meaning the ‘thought of God’

Now what was this great Word?

While reading:

You see here the Word had LIFE in it (John 1: 4), the life God wanted to reveal to us from the beginning . Here the apostles say they have heard it from time immemorial, so it was not a new thing in their ears but later, when the time came they came to receive the grace to see it with their own eyes and to witness  it on the day when the body was made into JESUS ​​CHRIST.

Now that we have seen any life is the Word of God (God’s Thought) to man, his main task is to restore what is lost and to redeem it. So in the scriptures this Word of life did not originate with the body of JESUS ​​CHRIST alone, it did not originate from a great distance, except it was hidden from the eyes of the people because the secret of godliness had not yet been revealed. So this WORD took many different forms for the sole purpose of bringing life into the people.

“We see it existed from Eden, at the very beginning of man’s journey as the Tree of Life in the Garden, that was the WORD OF GOD.

➜ Later It came to take yet another form of an ‘Ark’ It stood there to redeem humankind and their descendants from extinction on the face of the earth, and saved Noah and 7 others.

➜ Then came to take another form of the Lamb at the day when Abraham went to offer up his only son Isaac as a burnt in the mountain, all of which took place in great mysteries, revealing the LIFE in the future. .

“Then later we come to see it re-take on human nature and appear on earth for a little while to fulfill a purpose. As a priest to reconcile Abraham to God for a time. But the true priesthood had not yet been revealed.

Elsewhere when the Word took human form, it was when Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego were thrown into the fiery furnace and appeared in the likeness of the Son of God. But you will see its purpose is the same to bring life and save.

The other part it appeared as Rock. In the wilderness when the children of Israel were about to die by  the thirsty, it stood before them to save them, and Moses did not realize it until he did the double negligence of striking the rock twice when he knew that he was standing before himself, before the deliverer himself.

Another part revealed itself as the ‘Wisdom’ which he put on the judges and kings of Israel in the presence of Solomon and others who followed him, only to fulfill the purpose of saving and keeping his people above the kings whom God had chosen to dwell in.

If you read Proverbs chapters 8 and 9 you will see how Solomon describes wisdom as a living and communicative thing. Also, read (1 Corinthians 1:24) you will find that it mentions Christ as the Wisdom of God itself.

We do not have time to explain them one by one, but I want you to see some pictures there, the WORD of God, and how it was from the beginning. So later when the time came, God to reveal all the fullness, God to reveal all His fullness to man, God to reveal all life and all redemption, he saw it was a time now to form a special body, to be born of a virgin, to be called the name of JESUS ​​which means So that it can now live with people forever, talk to them, answer their questions, teach them, pass them on, rely on it, and guide them to the way of truth and righteousness and life forever. That’s when we see that Word in a body called Jesus … who we generally call the LORD JESUS ​​CHRIST HALLED! Hallelujah!

So brethren when we get back to the core of the subject,Who is this Melchisedec? The answer is that this Melchisedec is the Word of God manifested in the flesh to fulfill a specific purpose before its perfect time. But later it came to be officially called JESUS ​​CHRIST. Even now when we say to welcome Jesus Christ into your life, we mean to welcome the Living Word of God into your life, Because that Word has now been revealed in Christ Jesus the Lord in all its fullness. So as you hear this Word receive it, you have received Jesus Christ Himself into your life…

Are still living in Sin ? The people of the Old Testament, though, only partially understood this Word of God but obeyed with all perfection and attained salvation. How can we be saved without appreciation of such great salvation? (Hebrews 2: 3). JESUS ​​CHRIST is the thought of ​​God,He is the WORD of God, the very GOD itself in the Body. Follow Him to be safe, in this short journey here on earth.

Matthew 26:39-41  (KJV)

³⁹ And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

⁴⁰ And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

⁴¹ Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

That statement ‘the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak’ means, When we want to do anything divine… our spirits are ready to do it, but our bodies are not ready…

In the above account we read, After the Lord Jesus was around in the afternoon with his disciples for work, when evening came they did not have time to rest but went straight to the  house where they were prepared to stay. There the Lord continued to speak to His disciples many things, as well as to say goodbye to them, for it was the last night with them.

So they spent many hours in that house, singing, and being warned in their journey and being encouraged by the Lord.. Furthermore, on the same night, the Lord washed his disciples’ feet to give them an example, as well as to share the Lord’s table

So they were too late for bedtime If you follow closely you will noticed it was not less than two o’clock at night that they stopped talking … So it was clear that they were too tired.

Just imagine all day long you have been wandering around, and still even at the midnight, instead of resting, the first thing you are told is to pray, usually this could be little difficult but the Lord knew it was possible.

And that is why he told them that the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.… This a battle against the body..that means If we can overcome our bodies then we will benefit greatly spiritually.

Now how can we overcome our flesh?

First of all, it is important to realize that having a body is not a sin! God’s purpose to create us with flesh and their desires was not bad from the beginning, nor was it a trap! The Lord designed these bodies for us, with their desires so that we could live in this world with all pleasures and happiness without boredom, that is the primary purpose of the body, that we might not be disappointed.

For stance When the body wants to relax, he created something called sleep, so when the body wants to relax, it sinks into a deep sleep, which gives the person some kind of pleasure in it.

Meanwhile in order for a person not get bored by eating, God has put an appetite in food, so that one may intend to eat always, even if he is not always hungry… but the main purpose of eating is not to give us pleasure, but to give our bodies strength…. Just imagine if there were no pleasure in eating, how boredom our bodies would be?

In the same way that we enjoy this world, God had created us with varieties of desires, so as to add the taste for living in this world, a desire to get together, play together, have fun together, and many more.

It was God’s purpose to live in this world without getting bored or seeing it as a bad place.

But after Adam and Eve sinned, the whole world was engrossed with evil, so not everything was worth the desire in the world again. Adam gave Satan possession of this world, Satan invented and invested many things, so for anyone who will fall into the same lust of his inventions, he will be lost. so that’s why the Bible tells us to leave the world, not to desire the world, because the world is already lost.

Now as we are pondering on how to overcome this flesh..

We will not overcome the bodies by rebuking them, because these desires were created by God himself, and not by the devil. you can’t rebuke hunger, sleep, or your nose to smell good food, and you can’t rebuke your body from getting excited when you go through some kind of stimulation. No you cant.

The only way to overcome the body, is to keep yourself away from the temptations that lead to lust, so if you want saliva to stop falling, there is only one cure! Stay away from the places they make your favorite foods, you can’t stop yourself from craving food in front of a meal, it’s a tough battle that you can’t afford,

So when you want to keep yourself from becoming lustful, the cure is to stay away from all the stimulants like pornography and secular companies, whose main focus is talking about those lustful things, stay away from worldly music, and also from any relationship with different sex before marriage, That’s just it

You may wonder someone begging you to pray for them to overcome the desires of the flesh!!! There is no prayers to win those desires my brother! Don’t be fooled !! The remedy is to stay away from them.

Meanwhile if you want to conquer sleep the remedy is to stay away from the bed and be busy! .. You give up your mind to sleep and send it to something in front of you. No… told them to pray!

There is no prayer to prevent sleep … The Lord Jesus did not tell Peter to wake up and rebuke the demon of sleep !! No… He told them to pray!

Have I met someone telling me that each time she wanted to pray , or to read the bible immediately she falls asleep? But when she watched a movie all sleep fade away.She thought it was a demon that kept her from reading the Word! … No it wasn’t a demon sister, it was you tolerating your body,

Think about this, when you are watching  a television program that is boring to you, suddenly you will find yourself  falling asleep..do you think that was Satan  did it? No it was your body responded after it has find that program is unpleasant to it. Same applies when you want to pray or read the bible.

So the remedy for overcoming sleep is to go into deep study of the importance of prayer, once you know the importance of prayer,

I have never slept in worship, and nothing special is going on inside of me, nor is there any demon to contend with, and no vision I saw to stop myself from doing it. I just understood the importance of prayers in my life and that is what motivated me not to allow the sleep to overcome me by any means each time i wanted to pray or worship. Because I know If I wouldn’t pray hard enough I wouldn’t do anything perfectly , nor would I see God moving in my life.

The Bible says the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.… Our minds are ready to do the will of God, the great battle is in us when we failed to understand the revelation of importance of prayers.

In conclusion Remember that! This world, not what the Lord intended for us to live by the lusts of our flesh, this world is given to Satan, all the works of the flesh and all his passions are ultimately ending up in the lake of fire. The Bible says …

Galatians 5:16-21  (KJV)

¹⁶ This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

¹⁷ For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

¹⁸ But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

¹⁹ Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

²⁰ Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

²¹ Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

If you study the Bible deeply you will discover that the Lord Jesus did not have only 12 disciples! But he had many other disciples. He had More than 70 who were following him, the Bible says so (Luke 10: 1-2)… But later on he came to appoint only 12 of them to go with him wherever he went.

Now if you keep a close eye on it, you will notice that the Lord Jesus first chose many of His disciples in first stage, including those  12 apostles, so suppose there was a panel of about 80 chosen by the Lord, to do the work of the ministry … he went from place to place calling each of them out of the world, he went one place and met the fisherman Peter  he called him, the other way he met the housekeeper and called him, the other way he met Matthew the tax collector and called him … others probably weren’t busy just finding them around the street and called them, until a one group of about 80 is finished … And all those who were called were equal in the sight of the Lord Jesus, no one was greater than the other, and they all told to forsake all and follow him. See? A large group of desciples was called….

Now The second step followed a short time later, perhaps months later, when the Lord again separated the 12 disciples from among that large group of his disciples … take note those 12, they were not chosen directly from the world, no! but from the group of other disciples he was with … That was the second selection, the same day that the Lord Jesus went out to watch in prayer, that was the day God revealed to him the 12 apostles among that group …

Luke 6:12-17 (KJV)

12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;

14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,

15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,

16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

The 12 apostles were chosen from among the multitude of disciples … now these 12 were not chosen because of any effort they had, or because of their holiness, or because they were more liberal than others, or because in the sight of God they themselves seemed to be something … No, they were chosen by grace only… The word ‘grace’ is almost identical to the word ‘lucky’… but not lucky in such … Grace is more than lucky, lucky sometimes falls on the person who deserves it, but Grace is always for someone who does not deserve, these 12 nominees in the second round received the GRACE and not the LUCKY. They were not worthy to be chosen but they were chosen …

Same to others who were  not  chosen, was not because they were evil or because they were so holy, no! it’s just God’s choice! That it! So it was His pleasure to choose those and the others to leave them, we cannot explain it how and we cannot ask God why. It is for his pleasure of choice (Read Romans 9: 13-25).

Now at this second stage, is when this word is fulfilling “Many are called,  but few are choosen”.

But still the selection went on, because even among the 12 nominees, it’s still possible to lose … Not just because! You have been called the Chosen One and this is the ticket to say I am saved…

The Bible tells us that even “the elect can be deceived”.

Matthew 24:23-27  (KJV)

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Judas was one of the 12, but he was deceived and lost! … and then the Bible warns us that in the last days false Christians will appear, they will give signs and wonders so that  to deceive even the elect.

The time that we are living in now, the elect mentioned there are all those whom the Lord has called out of the world, and has chosen them among the called. and give them the grace to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven as you read here … Remember, not all the things the Lord Jesus was saying to the crowds, many of his secrets he was only revealing to the 12 apostles he chose … the rest he was teaching them by parables …

Matthew 13:10-11  (KJV)

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

When you receive the grace to hear the gospel anywhere, you also get to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven that others do not see or find, and there is something inside you that bears witness what you are hearing is true… know that you are the chosen one, but in these last days many will be deceived just like Judas who ended up  betraying the Lord Jesus … Judas was completely convinced in his heart to believe the Lord Jesus in the early stages of his call, he had a revelation  that Jesus is the Messiah foretold, and he also went farther to enter the cost of leaving everything for the sake of Jesus, because there is nobody who would follow Jesus without giving up everything and deny himself, Judas did all of that, he answered the call accordingly … but it came about when he began to fall in love with the things of the world, he began to steal little by little, he began to love the world a little bit, But Lord did not drive him out, but left him  walk with him to the end, and his anointing did not ceased, and he continued to cast out demons and pray for the people as usual and receive healing, but in the end it was so bad, he hung up  himself(Acts 1: 16-20).

And even today, you as a christian has heared the gospel and decided to follow Jesus from the heart, that is when the Lord called you to the truth and chose you to be closer to Him Above all, you gave up everything and followed Him … but the time has come when you have ignored the Word, rotten in, robbed the Lord, been a son of the world, while you are walking with Jesus, remember that the Lord will not drive you away, will not spare you, will continue to walk with you as he walked with Judah, will show no signs of contempt or disgrace, will not take away your miracles, but will end up like Judah! fulfilling the Scripture, Judas was chosen but the Lord said to him, it was  better for such person would have not born, than to endup that way! … imagine one appointed by God himself was told those words ?.

Brethern, we  are living in the last days, the bible says.

2 Peter 1:10 (KJV)

10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

Strengthen your calling as the choosen. It’s time to turn to the Lord without one foot out neither one foot inside, before the time of rupture has passed.

When you die, at the same time you will see the angels of God standing at your side, to take you to the place you deserve, Now if you are holy (that is, when you were here on earth lived in Christ, and separated yourself from evil) then the angels will take you with the rejoicing song and bring you to a place called Paradise, Luke 23:43).

The Lord Jesus used the parable of Lazarus to describe the true picture of what happens to the saints immediately after death.

 Luke 16:22 “And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried”.

Abraham’s bosom is a paradise in other language, it is a beautiful place, it is half heaven, but not heaven. Paradise is only a temporary place where the saints are kept waiting for the day of rapture,. And when the day of rapture reaches… they return to the tombs to take over their bodies, and together they are united with the saints who will be alive then, and together be given bodies of glory to go to meet the Lord Jesus in the clouds, and the heavenly journey will begin, they will go to heaven to feast with the Lamb in Heaven.. there we shall see our God face to face.

But on the other hand, what happens after the death to a sinner?.

 If he/she died as a drunkard, or an adulterer, or a murderer, or a blasphemer, that is, in fact, out of Christ, then the angels whom God prepared for the task of separating the wheat and the tares (the wicked and the good) will do their work.

 Matthew 13:49 “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,

50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth”.

Remember when the Bible says the end of the world means the end of two kinds, the first kind is when a person dies, to him/her is their end of the world.. as well as the day of judgment when the whole world will be judged is also called the end of the world, both angels will do the work.

So if a person who is wicked dies, without loss of time, he will be taken by these angels to a place called Hell/JEHANUM, and hell is a very different place to the Lake of Fire, hell is like a prisoner, the wicked are temporarily saved, awaiting the final judgment, and then they will be thrown into the lake of fire on the last day.

Now that is the place of suffering, where the rich man of Lazarus was sent

 Luke 16:22 “And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house:

28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead”.

This rich man will keep staying there suffering while waiting for the resurrection that will come soon after the 1000-year reign ends, and then he will stand before the judgment seat of the lamb and be judged for all his sins, and then cast into that the lake of fire in a place where there is a fiery torment of unquenchable fire … And afterwards his story will be over (Revelation 20: 11-15)

So don’t be fooled that after death there will be a second chance, no! brother! bible is very clear in Hebrews 9:27 ” And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment”.

How do you prepare yourself if the death suddenly comes upon you?. Are you sure to hear the beautiful voices of angels singing triumphant songs as they lift you up and take you to paradise where other saints are there or see them coming in a fierce anger to drag you to hell? The answer lies in your heart

And sometimes these angels appear to people even before they are alive, though not always, and that is why they will see them shortly before they die, some very peaceful, some smiling, some saying they see angels around them talking to them, etc. if you see someone dies that way peacefully, probably their future is well, but then others will also see it before they die shortly, they become very depressed, or suffer, some die looking like they have been hanged, or have been killed, etc. Know that these angels are angry and take them to hell.

Therefore what happens after death?  separation!

Why is Satan an ancient serpent/ ancient dragon?

Shalom, it is by the grace of our God that we saw the sun again today. Welcome to study together the word of God which is the food for our souls.

The Bible says in ..

Revelation 20: 1 “And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

2 And he laid hold on the dragon, THAT OLD SERPENT, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,”

Satan is known as the old serpent or old dragon … meaning he has lived for a long time, and he has lived as the ancient dragon/serpent ever since … And if you know anything that has been around for a long time, it must have enough experiences about life,  for example, an old man  man must know a lot than youngs. Older people are more knowledgeable than teenagers.

Because they have experienced so many things in their lives and have learned so much, they have learned from their mistakes and from the mistakes of other people … so they can never be compared to newborn babies or teenagers.

Likewise the devil is also known as the old serpent/ old dragon…

It means that he knows so many things about man … he has existed since Eden, he knows Adam in face, shape and character he has not forgotten, he knows Eve also … he knows Noah, and he was witnessing how the world was being destroyed by the flood … he was looking … He still remembers Abraham’s image and of Sarah … remembers where they had bothered him in their lives. He remembers Moses … and he still knows all of his character and knows his weaknesses. He has Daniel and Nebuchadnezzar’s face, and Elijah and he remembers their behavior … He also knows the Head of Life, Jesus Christ, remembers all the events from his birth until he was there in the wilderness to tempt him, and when he died and rose, he knows his power and the power he now has…etc

So satan knows people very well, he knows people and their behavior, he knows what they like, and what they don’t like … He has seen all the generations from Adam until now …

Just ask yourself until now you are under age of 70 probably and yet you can categorize some people’s behavior and some tribes so much that you probably even knew someone behavior even if he/she doesn’t speak a word.. you can group him/her even before  going so far… Now if you who is under 60 years already know the societies and their habits … How much do you think the devil will know people? For he is from Eden until this day.

I want to tell you that he knows humans well … he knows where to hold captive children, both old and youngs… because man is the same One … to several people back in the past generations and he succeeded … He knows how to bring down the servants of God … because he has tried in the past and succeeded to others so he applies the same experience to people of all ages. He(ancient dragon) knows how to keep people away from praying, he know how to influence them not to seek God, because he has tried that way in the past and it worked. He has enough experience.

Unless you get right into Jesus, you will not defeat Satan in any way, he has more knowledge than you and me,

If you that you do not want the Lord Jesus and that you can prevent yourself from committing adultery without even being in Christ, I want to tell  you the truth that you are wasting your time! One day you will commit it … people like you tried the same in the past and he(satan) had caught them, so you are not the first to think it or try it.

Again, If you say you can do good things or without being in Jesus … sister! Satan had already sought solution for people like you probably over 2000 years ago … you might think you are the first to try like that.. but satan has probably 10 million lists of people in the past generations who have tried to act like you out of Christ and he had overcome all of them.

So you who were born these days you cannot surpass the wisdom of the one that existed many years ago … (Do you not know why the devil is called the god of this world? Because he knows human affairs more than any other human being).

That is why the Lord Jesus told him that he is always thinking of what belongs to men and not of God. because he does not study God but study men and how to rule him. Go and read (Matthew 16:23).

So you will ask if the devil knows so much about human affairs, then who can escape? And overcome him?.

The answer is this;  In addition to all the greatness of the human consciousness he has in his wisdom, there is one who is much older than him. This one is known as the ANCIENT OF DAYS.

  Daniel 7:13 -14 “I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the ANCIENT OF DAYS, and they brought him near before him.

14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed”

Our Father knows us better than Satan knows us. The devil has the experience to bring us down but the wisdom that is with God has the ability to know his thoughts and intentions and plans, and to bring down his thoughts… whatever he wants to think about, we are in Christ already. we have the ability to know all his traps. The divine wisdom penetrates in us that gives us the ability to perceive and overcome all satanic thoughts.

 But this wisdom is given only to those who believe in his beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

All others outside of Christ will never be able to defeat the ancient dragon who is the Devil. They will be led to the devil where he wants them to go., that is why a person who is not saved will never have peace, and will never overcome sin, or the will of the world. this is what he does… sometimes he plans to do this or that, but in the end it ends up being another thing … why? It is because he wants to direct himself and think he can succeed with his power and mind.

So if you are not saved, yet the hope of overcoming the ancient dragon is still available today, The Divine wisdom of God wants to enter into you today … do not listen to the devil who tells you in your mind now that you cannot be saved that you have so many sins and God will never forgive you …. he only uses his old tactics, so do not listen him … but you today deny him and make sure you deny him in action … Decide today to stop sinning, repent, stop going to night clubs, decide to stop gossip, decide to stop drunkenness and fornication and the Lord will love you … And the wonderful wisdom from the ANCIENT OF DAYS. (the LORD) our God, will come into thee, that may know his cunning and his tricks..

 Proverbs 2:6 “For the Lord giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
