Understanding Paul\u2019s Statement<\/strong><\/h3>\n

When Paul says he is “obligated,” the original Greek word used is opheil\u0113t\u0113s<\/em>, which means \u201ca debtor\u201d or someone who owes a debt. Paul isn\u2019t speaking about financial debt, but a spiritual one. He felt deeply responsible for sharing the Gospel with everyone because of the grace he had received from Christ.<\/p>\n
