Background \u2013 The Crisis in Babylon<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In Daniel 2<\/strong>, King Nebuchadnezzar has a troubling dream but forgets its details. He demands that his wise men not only interpret the dream but also tell him what the dream was\u2014something humanly impossible. The magicians, astrologers, and sorcerers admit defeat:<\/p>\n

Daniel 2:11 (NKJV):<\/strong>
\n\u201cIt is a difficult thing that the king requests, and there is no other who can tell it to the king except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Their statement is both an admission of human limitation and a profound theological truth: divine revelation cannot come from man-made religion or demonic spirits but from the one true God<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Theological Insight \u2013 Who Are These ‘Gods’?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Babylonians were polytheists. Their worldview included a host of deities, spirits, and cosmic forces. When the magicians referred to \u201cthe gods who do not dwell with flesh,\u201d<\/em> they were likely referring to divine beings beyond their usual occult interactions\u2014perhaps distant, unknowable gods.<\/p>\n

Ironically, their statement points us directly to Yahweh (Jehovah)<\/strong>, the God of the Bible, who:<\/p>\n
