In moments of hardship, silence, or delay in answered prayers, it\u2019s easy to feel overlooked. Yet Scripture makes it abundantly clear: <strong>God sees, knows, and remembers everything<\/strong>\u2014especially our acts of faith, endurance, and love.<\/p>\n<h3>1. <strong>Christ Sees and Knows All Things<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In <strong>Revelation 2:2-3 (ESV)<\/strong>, Jesus says to the church in Ephesus:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cI know your works, your toil and your patient endurance, and how you cannot bear with those who are evil, but have tested those who call themselves apostles and are not, and found them to be false. I know you are enduring patiently and bearing up for my name\u2019s sake, and you have not grown weary.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This is not just a general observation\u2014it is divine recognition. Jesus walks among His churches (Revelation 1:12\u201313, 20) and intimately knows what His people are going through. This echoes <strong>Hebrews 4:15 (ESV)<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cFor we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses&#8230;\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He sees every effort we make:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>When we give sacrificially (Mark 12:41\u201344).<\/li>\n<li>When we forgive those who hurt us (Matthew 6:14\u201315).<\/li>\n<li>When we pray for others in secret (Matthew 6:6).<\/li>\n<li>When we endure suffering with hope (Romans 5:3\u20135).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Even our smallest acts of love are remembered:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cFor God is not unjust so as to overlook your work and the love that you have shown for his name in serving the saints.\u201d<\/em> \u2014 <strong>Hebrews 6:10 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>2. <strong>God Records Our Faithfulness<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Lord not only sees our actions but records them. <strong>Malachi 3:16\u201317 (ESV)<\/strong> says:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cThen those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The \u201cbook of remembrance\u201d reveals God&#8217;s commitment to justice and reward. He honors faithfulness, especially when it\u2019s tested.<\/p>\n<p>Even the tears we shed in prayer are noticed:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cYou have kept count of my tossings; put my tears in your bottle. Are they not in your book?\u201d<\/em> \u2014 <strong>Psalm 56:8 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>3. <strong>Suffering Is Not the End \u2013 It\u2019s a Test of Faith<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Jesus told the church in Smyrna:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cDo not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison\u2026 Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.\u201d<\/em> \u2014 <strong>Revelation 2:10 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>This is a powerful theological truth: trials refine our faith, not destroy it (<strong>1 Peter 1:6\u20137<\/strong>). Jesus Himself, though sinless, was made \u201cperfect through suffering\u201d (Hebrews 2:10). On the cross, He cried, \u201cMy God, my God, why have you forsaken me?\u201d (<strong>Matthew 27:46<\/strong>), but He remained faithful to death, securing eternal life for us.<\/p>\n<p>In suffering, we are called not to murmur like Israel in the wilderness (Numbers 14:2), but to endure with hope:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201c&#8230;we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance&#8230;\u201d<\/em> \u2014 <strong>Romans 5:3 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3>4. <strong>The Crown of Life Is Promised to the Faithful<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The \u201ccrown of life\u201d is symbolic of eternal reward given to those who remain faithful to Christ, especially in trials.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cBlessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life&#8230;\u201d<\/em> \u2014 <strong>James 1:12 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Jesus, the ultimate example, endured the cross, despising the shame, and now sits at the right hand of God (<strong>Hebrews 12:2<\/strong>). And He promises to share His victory with us.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Final Encouragement<\/h3>\n<p>Though it may feel like your labor is in vain, Scripture assures you it is not:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cTherefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.\u201d<\/em> \u2014 <strong>1 Corinthians 15:58 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Remain faithful. Every act of love, every prayer, every tear, and every trial endured for Christ\u2019s sake is precious in God\u2019s sight. You are not forgotten.
