Blessed <\/span>be <\/span>the <\/span>name <\/span>of <\/span>our <\/span>Lord <\/span>Jesus <\/span>Christ! <\/span>Welcome <\/span>to <\/span>this <\/span>Bible <\/span>reflection.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus <\/span>Christ, <\/span>our <\/span>Lord <\/span>and <\/span>Savior, <\/span>made <\/span>a <\/span>powerful <\/span>statement <\/span>concerning <\/span>those <\/span>who <\/span>confess <\/span>Him <\/span>publicly:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>Therefore <\/span>whoever <\/span>confesses <\/span>Me <\/span>before <\/span>men, <\/span>him <\/span>I <\/span>will <\/span>also <\/span>confess <\/span>before <\/span>My <\/span>Father <\/span>who <\/span>is <\/span>in <\/span>heaven.\u201d<\/span><\/strong>
\u2014 <\/span>Matthew <\/span>10:<\/span>32 (<\/span>NKJV)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This <\/span>promise <\/span>is <\/span>profound. <\/span>When <\/span>we <\/span>openly <\/span>confess <\/span>Jesus <\/span>here <\/span>on <\/span>earth, <\/span>He <\/span>promises <\/span>to <\/span>acknowledge <\/span>us <\/span>before <\/span>God <\/span>the <\/span>Father <\/span>in <\/span>heaven. <\/span>However, <\/span>the <\/span>blessings <\/span>of <\/span>this <\/span>confession <\/span>are <\/span>not <\/span>limited <\/span>to <\/span>the <\/span>life <\/span>to <\/span>come\u2014<\/span>they <\/span>begin <\/span>right <\/span>here <\/span>and <\/span>now. <\/span>One <\/span>vivid <\/span>example <\/span>of <\/span>this <\/span>is <\/span>found <\/span>in <\/span>the <\/span>life <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>Apostle <\/span>Peter.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s <\/span>look <\/span>at <\/span>the <\/span>account:<\/span><\/p>\n

He <\/span>said <\/span>to <\/span>them, \u201c<\/span>But <\/span>who <\/span>do <\/span>you <\/span>say <\/span>that <\/span>I <\/span>am?\u201d<\/span>
Simon <\/span>Peter <\/span>answered <\/span>and <\/span>said, \u201c<\/span>You <\/span>are <\/span>the <\/span>Christ, <\/span>the <\/span>Son <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>living <\/span>God.\u201d<\/span>
Jesus <\/span>answered <\/span>and <\/span>said <\/span>to <\/span>him, \u201c<\/span>Blessed <\/span>are <\/span>you, <\/span>Simon <\/span>Bar-<\/span>Jonah, <\/span>for <\/span>flesh <\/span>and <\/span>blood <\/span>has <\/span>not <\/span>revealed <\/span>this <\/span>to <\/span>you, <\/span>but <\/span>My <\/span>Father <\/span>who <\/span>is <\/span>in <\/span>heaven.<\/span>
And <\/span>I <\/span>also <\/span>say <\/span>to <\/span>you <\/span>that <\/span>you <\/span>are <\/span>Peter, <\/span>and <\/span>on <\/span>this <\/span>rock <\/span>I <\/span>will <\/span>build <\/span>My <\/span>church, <\/span>and <\/span>the <\/span>gates <\/span>of <\/span>Hades <\/span>shall <\/span>not <\/span>prevail <\/span>against <\/span>it.<\/span>
And <\/span>I <\/span>will <\/span>give <\/span>you <\/span>the <\/span>keys <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>kingdom <\/span>of <\/span>heaven, <\/span>and <\/span>whatever <\/span>you <\/span>bind <\/span>on <\/span>earth <\/span>will <\/span>be <\/span>bound <\/span>in <\/span>heaven, <\/span>and <\/span>whatever <\/span>you <\/span>loose <\/span>on <\/span>earth <\/span>will <\/span>be <\/span>loosed <\/span>in <\/span>heaven.\u201d<\/span><\/strong>

Notice <\/span>this: <\/span>even <\/span>before <\/span>Jesus <\/span>ascended <\/span>to <\/span>heaven <\/span>to <\/span>intercede <\/span>for <\/span>Peter, <\/span>He <\/span>had <\/span>already <\/span>affirmed <\/span>him <\/span>publicly. <\/span>Jesus <\/span>acknowledged <\/span>Peter\u2019s <\/span>confession <\/span>and <\/span>responded <\/span>by:<\/span><\/p>\n

    Blessing <\/span>him<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 <\/span>Peter\u2019s <\/span>understanding <\/span>was <\/span>not <\/span>human <\/span>wisdom <\/span>but <\/span>divine <\/span>revelation <\/span>from <\/span>the <\/span>Father.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Giving <\/span>him <\/span>a <\/span>new <\/span>identity<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 \u201c<\/span>You <\/span>are <\/span>Peter,\u201d <\/span>signifying <\/span>stability <\/span>and <\/span>leadership.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Entrusting <\/span>him <\/span>with <\/span>authority<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 <\/span>Jesus <\/span>promised <\/span>Peter <\/span>the <\/span>keys <\/span>to <\/span>the <\/span>Kingdom <\/span>of <\/span>Heaven, <\/span>symbolizing <\/span>spiritual <\/span>authority <\/span>and <\/span>responsibility.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Empowering <\/span>him <\/span>spiritually<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 <\/span>Whatever <\/span>Peter <\/span>would <\/span>bind <\/span>or <\/span>loose <\/span>on <\/span>earth <\/span>would <\/span>have <\/span>eternal <\/span>implications <\/span>in <\/span>heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    This <\/span>is <\/span>the <\/span>same <\/span>spiritual <\/span>principle <\/span>at <\/span>work <\/span>today. <\/span>When <\/span>we <\/span>confess <\/span>Jesus <\/span>correctly\u2014<\/span>acknowledging <\/span>Him <\/span>as <\/span>the <\/span>Christ, <\/span>the <\/span>Son <\/span>of <\/span>the <\/span>Living <\/span>God\u2014<\/span>we <\/span>begin <\/span>to <\/span>reap <\/span>the <\/span>rewards <\/span>of <\/span>that <\/span>confession <\/span>here <\/span>on <\/span>earth<\/span><\/em>, <\/span>not <\/span>just <\/span>in <\/span>heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The <\/span>Practical <\/span>Benefits <\/span>of <\/span>Confessing <\/span>Christ <\/span>Today:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      Spiritual <\/span>Authority<\/span><\/strong>: <\/span>God <\/span>begins <\/span>to <\/span>entrust <\/span>us <\/span>with <\/span>deeper <\/span>levels <\/span>of <\/span>revelation <\/span>and <\/span>spiritual <\/span>power.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Heavenly <\/span>Recognition<\/span><\/strong>: <\/span>Our <\/span>names <\/span>are <\/span>recognized <\/span>in <\/span>the <\/span>spiritual <\/span>realm (<\/span>Luke <\/span>10:<\/span>20).<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Divine <\/span>Favor<\/span><\/strong>: <\/span>Confession <\/span>opens <\/span>the <\/span>door <\/span>to <\/span>blessings <\/span>and <\/span>divine <\/span>appointments <\/span>on <\/span>earth.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Transformation <\/span>of <\/span>Identity<\/span><\/strong>: <\/span>Like <\/span>Peter, <\/span>our <\/span>identity <\/span>is <\/span>reshaped\u2014<\/span>we <\/span>become <\/span>who <\/span>God <\/span>intended <\/span>us <\/span>to <\/span>be.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

      Partnership <\/span>in <\/span>God\u2019s <\/span>Work<\/span><\/strong>: <\/span>We <\/span>are <\/span>empowered <\/span>to <\/span>represent <\/span>Christ <\/span>in <\/span>our <\/span>families, <\/span>communities, <\/span>and <\/span>ministries.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      But <\/span>here <\/span>is <\/span>an <\/span>important <\/span>note: <\/span>confession <\/span>isn\u2019t <\/span>just <\/span>a <\/span>silent <\/span>belief. <\/span>The <\/span>Bible <\/span>is <\/span>clear <\/span>that <\/span>verbal<\/span><\/em> confession <\/span>is <\/span>essential:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \u201c<\/span>For <\/span>with <\/span>the <\/span>heart <\/span>one <\/span>believes <\/span>unto <\/span>righteousness, <\/span>and <\/span>with <\/span>the <\/span>mouth <\/span>confession <\/span>is <\/span>made <\/span>unto <\/span>salvation.\u201d<\/span><\/strong>
      \u2014 <\/span>Romans <\/span>10:<\/span>10 (<\/span>NKJV)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

      True <\/span>faith <\/span>is <\/span>not <\/span>complete <\/span>without <\/span>open <\/span>acknowledgment. <\/span>It’s <\/span>not <\/span>enough <\/span>to <\/span>believe <\/span>in <\/span>Jesus <\/span>quietly\u2014<\/span>we <\/span>must <\/span>speak <\/span>up <\/span>and <\/span>stand <\/span>for <\/span>Him <\/span>publicly.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Ask <\/span>Yourself:<\/span><\/h3>\n

        Have <\/span>I <\/span>truly <\/span>confessed <\/span>Jesus <\/span>Christ <\/span>with <\/span>my <\/span>mouth, <\/span>not <\/span>just <\/span>believed <\/span>in <\/span>Him <\/span>in <\/span>my <\/span>heart?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Do <\/span>I <\/span>speak <\/span>of <\/span>Him <\/span>before <\/span>others <\/span>with <\/span>boldness <\/span>and <\/span>clarity?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

        Am <\/span>I <\/span>experiencing <\/span>the <\/span>spiritual <\/span>fruit <\/span>of <\/span>confessing <\/span>Christ <\/span>openly?<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        If <\/span>you <\/span>haven\u2019t <\/span>yet <\/span>confessed <\/span>Jesus <\/span>publicly, <\/span>today <\/span>is <\/span>a <\/span>perfect <\/span>day <\/span>to <\/span>begin. <\/span>It\u2019s <\/span>not <\/span>only <\/span>for <\/span>your <\/span>eternal <\/span>destiny\u2014<\/span>it <\/span>also <\/span>unlocks <\/span>blessings <\/span>and <\/span>identity <\/span>in <\/span>this <\/span>life.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Remember <\/span>what <\/span>Jesus <\/span>said <\/span>in <\/span>contrast:<\/span><\/p>\n

        \u201c<\/span>But <\/span>whoever <\/span>denies <\/span>Me <\/span>before <\/span>men, <\/span>him <\/span>I <\/span>will <\/span>also <\/span>deny <\/span>before <\/span>My <\/span>Father <\/span>who <\/span>is <\/span>in <\/span>heaven.\u201d<\/span><\/strong>
        \u2014 <\/span>Matthew <\/span>10:<\/span>33 (<\/span>NKJV)<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

        Don\u2019t <\/span>let <\/span>fear <\/span>or <\/span>shame <\/span>hold <\/span>you <\/span>back. <\/span>Confessing <\/span>Christ <\/span>is <\/span>a <\/span>powerful <\/span>act <\/span>of <\/span>faith <\/span>that <\/span>brings <\/span>eternal <\/span>and <\/span>present-<\/span>day <\/span>rewards.<\/span><\/p>\n

        May <\/span>the <\/span>Lord <\/span>bless <\/span>you <\/span>richly <\/span>as <\/span>you <\/span>stand <\/span>boldly <\/span>for <\/span>Christ.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
