In the Bible, this term corresponds to what is translated in English as a \u201csodomite\u201d<\/strong>\u2014a male cult prostitute or one practicing sexual acts condemned by God.<\/p>\n

“There shall be no ritual harlot of the daughters of Israel, or a perverted one of the sons of Israel.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Here, \u201cperverted one\u201d refers to the Hebrew word \u201cqadesh,\u201d<\/em> which means a male shrine prostitute, often associated with pagan worship.<\/p>\n

Their behavior was considered an abomination<\/strong>\u2014something detestable in God\u2019s sight (see Leviticus 20:13).<\/p>\n

In Old Testament Israel, such practices were not merely personal choices\u2014they were tied to idol worship<\/strong>, often in the form of ritual prostitution in pagan temples. God strongly opposed Israel adopting these customs from surrounding nations.<\/p>\n

This verse shows how deeply these acts had infiltrated even the temple of God, defiling it.<\/p>\n

Sexual sin in the Bible is not just about personal morality\u2014it represents a spiritual rebellion against God\u2019s design<\/strong> for human relationships. Paul affirms this in the New Testament:<\/p>\n

However, God\u2019s covenant not to destroy the world with water does not mean judgment will never come.<\/p>\n

“…by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth… are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This points to a future judgment\u2014not by flood, but by fire\u2014as God will deal with sin once more, this time permanently.<\/p>\n

As believers, we are not called to hate or condemn individuals, but to stand for truth in love<\/strong> (Ephesians 4:15) and live in holiness. The rising tide of immorality is a sign of the end times<\/strong>\u2014just as Jesus said it would be “as it was in the days of Lot” (Luke 17:28\u201330).<\/p>\n

We must take this time seriously. The Rapture\u2014the sudden return of Christ for His Church\u2014is near (1 Thessalonians 4:16\u201317). Now is the time to examine our hearts and ensure we are walking in righteousness.<\/p>\n

“Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves…”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Are we truly prepared for the return of the Lord?
\nAre we standing firm in God\u2019s truth, or being swayed by the world\u2019s changing values?
\nThis is not a time for compromise\u2014it is a time for faith, holiness, and boldness in Christ.<\/p>\n
