The first and most important step is to receive salvation through Jesus Christ. Without Christ in your life, you have no authority over Satan. The sons of Sceva tried to cast out demons using the name of Jesus without having a real relationship with Him\u2014and they were overpowered by the evil spirit (Acts 19:13-16).
\nWhen Jesus lives in you, Satan sees His power and cannot harm you. Salvation gives you spiritual identity and authority.<\/p>\n
Even after receiving salvation, prayer remains essential. Jesus warned His disciples in<\/p>\n
