When you love God completely, you\u2019ll seek His truth. You\u2019ll read Scripture, understand it, and reject teachings that twist or distort God’s Word.<\/p>\n

2. Saturate Yourself in the Word<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cYour word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.\u201d<\/strong>

God\u2019s Word protects against spiritual deception. If you don\u2019t know the truth, you\u2019re vulnerable to lies\u2014like those promoting same-sex unions, polygamy, or cohabitation as marriage.<\/p>\n

\u201cContinue steadfastly in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.\u201d<\/strong>

The deceptive spirit that Paul warned about in 1 Timothy is active today, especially in areas like marriage. It operates quietly\u2014through cultural trends, church traditions, and even silence from pulpits.<\/p>\n

We must wake up and walk in the truth. If you\u2019re not in a biblical marriage, or if your relationship doesn\u2019t align with Scripture, seek God and repent<\/strong>. There is grace for anyone who turns to Christ.<\/p>\n
