Do you know why people will face judgment from God?<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s look at what Jesus Himself says:<\/p>\n

John 3:19 <\/strong>\u2013 \u201cAnd this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This verse gives a sobering truth: people will not be judged simply for ignorance\u2014but for rejection of the Light<\/strong>, which is Christ. Judgment comes because people consciously choose darkness<\/strong> after the Light has been revealed to them.<\/p>\n

What does it mean to “love darkness”?<\/h3>\n

To love darkness is not just a feeling\u2014it’s a decision. When someone prefers one thing over another, especially in matters of truth and morality, it reflects the posture of their heart<\/strong>. In this context, “loving darkness” means choosing sin over righteousness<\/strong>, despite being given the opportunity to live in the light.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not as if people didn\u2019t have a chance. The Light\u2014Jesus Christ\u2014has already come into the world<\/strong> (John 8:12). But many have rejected Him not because they didn\u2019t know, but because they preferred their sinful ways<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Problem Isn\u2019t Ignorance\u2014It\u2019s Rebellion<\/h3>\n

Imagine being in a dark room, and someone turns on a bright light. Suddenly, everything is clear and visible. But instead of staying in the light, people get up and walk back into the dark. That\u2019s what\u2019s happening spiritually in our world.<\/p>\n

Jesus emphasized that people reject the Light willingly:<\/p>\n

John 3:20\u201321<\/strong><\/p>\n

“For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed. But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This passage is not about ignorance; it\u2019s about the willful suppression of truth<\/strong> (cf. Romans 1:18). People avoid the Light because it exposes their sin\u2014and they don\u2019t want to repent. But those who are sincere, who love truth, will come to the Light and walk in it.<\/p>\n

Why Do People Prefer Darkness?<\/h3>\n

According to the Bible, sinful acts love secrecy. Sin thrives in hiddenness and shame. Even in daily life, we see this:<\/p>\n
