Praise the name of the Lord and Savior, the Author of Life, Jesus Christ! Welcome as we delve into God\u2019s Word together.<\/p>\n

There will come a time when the lamp of God will be extinguished<\/strong>. Let us respond to God\u2019s call before<\/strong> that moment arrives.<\/p>\n

1 Samuel 3:2-4 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAt that time Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his place. The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was. Then the Lord called Samuel, and he said, \u2018Here I am!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

To understand the significance of the \u201clamp of God\u201d and the timing of it going out, we must consider the Tabernacle Moses was commanded to build (Exodus 25\u201327). The Tabernacle consisted of three sections: the Outer Court, the Holy Place, and the Most Holy Place.<\/p>\n
