A Special Teaching for Women.<\/em><\/p>\n

Welcome, dear sister in Christ. Let\u2019s take some time together to reflect on an important question:<\/span><\/p>\n

Has the Lord ever done something great in your life?<\/strong>
\nMaybe He healed you, delivered you, opened a door for you, or gave you peace and salvation. You rejoiced and gave thanks\u2014but what happened next? Did you simply move on with life, or did you take a step further and begin to serve Him?<\/p>\n

Many believers stop at gratitude. But biblical faith produces action<\/strong> (James 2:17). Today, we\u2019ll see how ordinary women\u2014just like you\u2014responded to Jesus not only with words but with their lives.<\/p>\n

\n

Women Who Served Jesus<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In the Gospels, we see several women who were not apostles, pastors, or public figures\u2014but their role in Jesus\u2019 ministry was powerful.<\/p>\n

Matthew 27:55\u201356<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cMany women were there, watching from a distance. They had followed Jesus from Galilee to care for his needs.
\nAmong them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee\u2019s sons.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

These women weren\u2019t passive observers. The phrase \u201cto care for His needs\u201d<\/em> implies active support and service<\/strong>. They traveled with Jesus not just to listen but to help sustain the ministry. They were disciples in deed<\/strong>, even if not in title.<\/p>\n

\n

They Gave What They Had<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The Gospel of Luke gives more detail:<\/p>\n

Luke 8:1\u20133<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cAfter this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him,
\nand also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out;
\nJoanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod\u2019s household; Susanna; and many others.
\nThese women were helping to support them out of their own means.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

They didn\u2019t preach, but they financed the Gospel.<\/strong> They used their possessions, time, and influence to support Jesus and His disciples. This is a powerful reminder that giving is also ministry<\/strong> (2 Corinthians 9:6\u201311). God doesn\u2019t only call us to the pulpit\u2014He calls us to obedience in whatever form that takes.<\/p>\n

\n

Why Did They Serve?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

These women had personally experienced Jesus\u2019 power\u2014deliverance from demons, healing from disease, and the peace of salvation. In response, they chose not just to believe, but to follow and serve<\/strong>. True gratitude is always expressed through action (Romans 12:1).<\/p>\n

Even the Quiet Acts Count<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Remember Peter\u2019s mother-in-law?<\/p>\n

Matthew 8:14\u201315<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen Jesus came into Peter\u2019s house, he saw Peter\u2019s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever.
\nHe touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The moment she was healed, she served.<\/strong> She didn\u2019t wait for a title or a ministry invitation. Her response was immediate and practical. That\u2019s a model of what faithful service<\/strong> looks like\u2014simple, sincere, and right where you are.<\/p>\n

So, How Are You<\/em> Serving the Lord?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Are you serving only with your lips, or also with your life? You don\u2019t need a microphone or a platform to be useful to God. If you\u2019re a woman\u2014young or older\u2014ask yourself:<\/p>\n
