If what you hear does not come from Him, it can lead you astray. Not everything deserves your ears or your heart. We are living in a time marked by spiritual deception and darkness.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"773\" data-end=\"856\">In these last days, there are <strong data-start=\"803\" data-end=\"824\">three major areas<\/strong> that require extra discernment:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"906\">\n<li data-start=\"858\" data-end=\"873\">\n<p data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"873\"><strong data-start=\"860\" data-end=\"871\">Visions<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"888\">\n<p data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"888\"><strong data-start=\"876\" data-end=\"886\">Dreams<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"889\" data-end=\"906\">\n<p data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"906\"><strong data-start=\"891\" data-end=\"906\">Revelations<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"1227\">If your Christian life is built primarily on dreams you&#8217;ve had, visions you&#8217;ve seen, or revelations others have shared\u2014while neglecting the Word of God\u2014you are in serious danger. Whether those experiences are from God or not, if you\u2019ve sidelined the Scriptures, the risk of being misled is far greater than you realize.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1275\">We live in a time when people say things like:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1277\" data-end=\"1408\">\n<p data-start=\"1279\" data-end=\"1408\">\u201cI was taken to hell and shown those who eat certain types of candy or drink specific soft drinks like Coca-Cola are in torment.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1624\">\n<p data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1624\">\u201cGod showed me that every woman who enters marriage without being a virgin is an adulteress, and the only person she can rightfully marry is the man she slept with first\u2014even if it happened before she was saved.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1626\" data-end=\"1699\">\n<p data-start=\"1628\" data-end=\"1699\">\u201cI saw a vision that everyone who worships on Sunday is going to hell.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1701\" data-end=\"1776\">\n<p data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1776\">\u201cJesus told me that anyone who dreams about flying is destined for fire.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1778\" data-end=\"1941\">\n<p data-start=\"1780\" data-end=\"1941\">\u201cIf you\u2019ve ever taken something dishonestly in your past\u2014even if you have no way to repay it now\u2014you must pay it back or else you\u2019ll end up in the lake of fire.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<blockquote data-start=\"1943\" data-end=\"2015\">\n<p data-start=\"1945\" data-end=\"2015\">\u201cSwimming at the beach is sin. Using birth control sends you to hell.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"2017\" data-end=\"2040\">And the list goes on&#8230;<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2042\" data-end=\"2190\">Now, let\u2019s assume\u2014just for argument\u2019s sake\u2014that some of these claims are true. The important question is:<br data-start=\"2147\" data-end=\"2150\" \/><strong data-start=\"2150\" data-end=\"2188\">How do you know they are from God?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2192\" data-end=\"2379\">Is it because someone you trust had a vision? Because it felt real? Or because you \u201cjust believe\u201d them? Is that enough? Is personal conviction alone a trustworthy measure of divine truth?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2381\" data-end=\"2408\">What if someone told you,<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2409\" data-end=\"2542\">\n<p data-start=\"2411\" data-end=\"2542\">\u201cBlack-skinned people carry the curse of Ham and must undergo a special chemical skin-lightening process in order to enter heaven\u201d?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"2544\" data-end=\"2616\">Would you believe that too\u2014just because they said they had a revelation?<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2618\" data-end=\"2978\"><strong data-start=\"2618\" data-end=\"2711\">My brother, my sister, if you live by the Word of God, you already have sufficient truth.<\/strong> The Scriptures are complete, sufficient, and inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Even if someone tells you they saw homosexuals in hell, that shouldn&#8217;t shock you\u2014<strong data-start=\"2875\" data-end=\"2913\">because the Bible already says so.<\/strong> You don\u2019t need a vision to confirm what the Word has made plain:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"2980\" data-end=\"3320\">\n<p data-start=\"2982\" data-end=\"3320\"><strong data-start=\"2982\" data-end=\"3288\">\u201cOr do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality,<br data-start=\"3178\" data-end=\"3181\" \/>nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.\u201d<\/strong><br data-start=\"3288\" data-end=\"3291\" \/><em data-start=\"3291\" data-end=\"3320\">(1 Corinthians 6:9\u201310, ESV)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"3322\" data-end=\"3707\">When you walk by the Word, you are walking in light and safety. But if you rely solely on testimonies and supernatural experiences\u2014accepting them blindly without testing them by Scripture\u2014you will end up confused, anxious, and fearful. Truth and error will mix, and you will no longer know where you stand. Such a person is <strong data-start=\"3646\" data-end=\"3707\">especially vulnerable to temptation and falling into sin.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3709\" data-end=\"3781\">That\u2019s why it is <strong data-start=\"3726\" data-end=\"3750\">absolutely essential<\/strong> to know the Bible. Jesus said:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"3783\" data-end=\"3873\">\n<p data-start=\"3785\" data-end=\"3873\"><strong data-start=\"3785\" data-end=\"3852\">\u201cAnd you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.\u201d<\/strong><br data-start=\"3852\" data-end=\"3855\" \/><em data-start=\"3855\" data-end=\"3873\">(John 8:32, ESV)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"3875\" data-end=\"4184\"><strong data-start=\"3875\" data-end=\"4031\">Be careful about what testimonies you listen to online\u2014especially on platforms like YouTube. Be cautious about the preachers and influencers you follow.<\/strong> If your faith is not rooted in the Word of God, Satan will gladly offer you a counterfeit foundation, built on emotionalism, mysticism, or superstition.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4186\" data-end=\"4335\">Don\u2019t even take my word for it. Don\u2019t blindly trust any human being.<br data-start=\"4254\" data-end=\"4257\" \/><strong data-start=\"4257\" data-end=\"4277\">Trust the Bible.<\/strong> That\u2019s enough\u2014it is the surest foundation for your faith.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4337\" data-end=\"4353\">Some will say,<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"4354\" data-end=\"4466\">\n<p data-start=\"4356\" data-end=\"4466\">\u201cThe Lord told me to collect your hair and fingernails and wrap them in a red cloth so we can pray over them.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"4468\" data-end=\"4518\">And when you ask for biblical support, they say,<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"4519\" data-end=\"4607\">\n<p data-start=\"4521\" data-end=\"4607\">\u201cIt\u2019s a revelation! You won\u2019t receive deliverance unless you follow this instruction.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"4609\" data-end=\"4670\">This is <strong data-start=\"4617\" data-end=\"4641\">extremely dangerous!<\/strong><br data-start=\"4641\" data-end=\"4644\" \/><strong data-start=\"4644\" data-end=\"4670\">Reject such teachings.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4672\" data-end=\"4687\">Others claim,<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"4688\" data-end=\"4755\">\n<p data-start=\"4690\" data-end=\"4755\">\u201cUnless you believe in me personally, you will miss the rapture.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"4757\" data-end=\"4779\"><strong data-start=\"4757\" data-end=\"4779\">That too is false!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"4781\" data-end=\"4800\">The Bible is clear:<\/p>\n<blockquote data-start=\"4802\" data-end=\"4985\">\n<p data-start=\"4804\" data-end=\"4985\"><strong data-start=\"4804\" data-end=\"4960\">\u201cNow the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.\u201d<\/strong><br data-start=\"4960\" data-end=\"4963\" \/><em data-start=\"4963\" data-end=\"4985\">(1 Timothy 4:1, ESV)<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p data-start=\"4987\" data-end=\"5093\"><strong data-start=\"4987\" data-end=\"5093\">Do not be quick to believe anything you hear, unless you have tested it through the lens of Scripture.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5095\" data-end=\"5145\"><strong>May the Lord help us remain anchored in His truth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"5152\" data-end=\"5337\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class='share-to-whatsapp-wrapper'><div class='share-on-whsp'>Share on: <\/div><a data-text='WARNING!
