“The rapture has taken place today! There is no longer any opportunity for repentance.\u201d<\/p>\n

Has this news shocked you?<\/p>\n

Ask yourself when this event actually occurs, how will you respond?
\nSo far, the rapture hasn\u2019t happened yet, but when it does, how will you feel when you\u2019re told that the saints have been caught up to be with the Lord, and you have been left behind?<\/p>\n

Will you be as shocked as you are now, or will you accept it calmly?<\/p>\n

What is the rapture?<\/strong>
\nThe Bible teaches that Jesus will return to take His church all true believers from this earth to be with Him (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 ESV):<\/p>\n

“For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This event is imminent and will happen suddenly (Matthew 24:44 NIV):<\/p>\n

“So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you are shocked by this news today, it shows your heart is sensitive to spiritual truth because your true home is not here on earth (Philippians 3:20 ESV):<\/p>\n

“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That\u2019s why the thought of being left behind is frightening because it means missing out on the eternal promise.<\/p>\n

But it\u2019s not too late!<\/strong>
\nJesus invites everyone to repent and receive salvation (Acts 3:19 NIV):<\/p>\n

“Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Don\u2019t wait until that day when it\u2019s too late. Today, accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior (John 1:12 ESV):<\/p>\n

“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.”<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Because the rapture is real, it could happen at any moment. Will you be ready?<\/p>\n
