Greetings in the matchless name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we draw closer to the return of Christ, it is vital that we examine the Scriptures with a discerning heart. Today, let us meditate on a seemingly small detail in the crucifixion narrative that carries a profound theological message: the seamless robe of Jesus<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

1. The Crucifixion and the Garment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

At the foot of the cross, the Roman soldiers carried out a brutal routine. After crucifying Jesus, they divided His clothing into four parts one share for each soldier. However, when they came to His inner garment a tunic they discovered it was seamless<\/strong>, woven in one piece from top to bottom. Not wanting to tear it, they cast lots to determine who would take it.<\/p>\n

John 19:23\u201324 (NIV):<\/strong>
\n\u201cWhen the soldiers crucified Jesus, they took His clothes, dividing them into four shares, one for each of them, with the undergarment remaining. This garment was seamless, woven in one piece from top to bottom.
\n\u2018Let\u2019s not tear it,\u2019 they said to one another. \u2018Let\u2019s decide by lot who will get it.\u2019
\nThis happened so that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, \u2018They divided my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment.\u2019 So this is what the soldiers did.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
