To answer it clearly, we must understand two foundational truths:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>God is the Creator of all things.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>God is holy and cannot sin or create sin.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Let\u2019s explore how these two truths work together.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>1. God Created All Things \u2013 But Not All Outcomes<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Yes, God created everything\u2014<strong>\u201cThrough him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.\u201d<\/strong> (John 1:3). This includes the heavens, the earth, and all living beings. But that doesn&#8217;t mean God directly created every individual action or invention, especially those that are contrary to His nature.<\/p>\n<p>Think about this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>God created trees, but He did not create furniture or paper. Humans did.<\/li>\n<li>God created iron and minerals, but He did not create cars or weapons. Humans did.<\/li>\n<li>God gave us ingredients like flour, water, and oil, but He did not create chapati or pilau\u2014those are human-made by combining the raw materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In the same way, <strong>God created free will<\/strong>, and humans have used that gift to either obey Him\u2014or rebel against Him. <strong>Sin is the result of choosing rebellion.<\/strong> Therefore, sin is not a \u201cthing\u201d God created; it&#8217;s a <em>corruption<\/em> of something good He made.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>2. Sin is a Human (and Angelic) Corruption of Good<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>God created humans and angels with <strong>free will<\/strong>\u2014the ability to choose. Without this, love, obedience, and relationship would be meaningless. But with that freedom comes the risk of disobedience.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Satan<\/strong> was once a holy angel, but he chose pride and rebellion:<br \/>\n<strong>\u201cYou were blameless in your ways from the day you were created till wickedness was found in you.\u201d<\/strong> (Ezekiel 28:15)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Adam and Eve<\/strong> were placed in a perfect garden, but they chose to disobey God&#8217;s command:<br \/>\n<strong>\u201cWhen you eat from it you will certainly die.\u201d<\/strong> (Genesis 2:17)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sin entered the world through <em>their choice<\/em>, not God\u2019s design<span style=\"font-size: revert; color: initial;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cTherefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned.\u201d<\/strong> (Romans 5:12)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>3. God Cannot Create Sin \u2013 Because He is Holy<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The idea that God could create sin contradicts His nature. The Bible is clear:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>\u201cGod is light; in him there is no darkness at all.\u201d<\/strong> (1 John 1:5)<\/li>\n<li><strong>\u201cYour eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrongdoing.\u201d<\/strong> (Habakkuk 1:13)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If God created sin, He would not be pure or just. But Scripture affirms that He is <em>perfectly holy<\/em>, and <strong>He hates sin.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>\u201cYou are not a God who takes pleasure in evil; with you the wicked cannot dwell.\u201d<\/strong> (Psalm 5:4)<\/p>\n<p>So, no\u2014God did not create sin. He created free will, and humans (and fallen angels) used that freedom to invent sin by twisting and misusing good things.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>4. Sin Continues to Be Invented<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Even today, new forms of evil are being created. Jesus foretold this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cBecause of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold.\u201d<\/strong> (Matthew 24:12)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Paul echoes this in Romans:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cThey invent ways of doing evil\u2026\u201d<\/strong> (Romans 1:30)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This is why the world is in moral decline\u2014and why divine judgment is certain unless people turn back to God.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>5. The Only Escape from Sin Is in Jesus Christ<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>No one can overcome sin on their own. But God, in His mercy, provided a way through His Son:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cBut God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.\u201d<\/strong> (Romans 5:8)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Salvation involves:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Confessing and turning away from sin (repentance)<\/strong> \u2013 (Acts 3:19)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ<\/strong> \u2013 (Acts 2:38)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Receiving the Holy Spirit to empower holy living<\/strong> \u2013 (Romans 8:13\u201314)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Through Jesus, we are not only forgiven\u2014we are <em>transformed<\/em>, enabled to live a new life free from the power of sin.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cTherefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!\u201d<\/strong> (2 Corinthians 5:17)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><strong>6. God\u2019s Call to Holiness<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>God\u2019s expectation for His children is clear:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>\u201cBe perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.\u201d<\/strong> (Matthew 5:48)<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This doesn\u2019t mean flawlessness\u2014it means spiritual maturity, integrity, and a life set apart for God. We are called to reflect His holiness in a sinful world.<\/p>\n<p>God did not create sin. Sin was born when created beings\u2014angels and humans\u2014misused their freedom.
