Do you know where false prophets, pastors, apostles, teachers, and evangelists get their power from?<\/strong><\/p>\n It\u2019s not from heaven.<\/p>\n It comes from fake Christians<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Yes\u2014those who claim to follow Christ, but whose hearts are far from Him. They\u2019re the ones keeping false ministries alive.<\/p>\n Fake Christians are those who:<\/p>\n Carry Christian names,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Belong to Christian denominations,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Attend church services,<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Publicly confess Christ…<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n …yet their hearts are not set on eternal life<\/strong>, but on earthly pleasures.<\/p>\n Jesus described them this way:<\/p>\n “These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.”<\/em> Their prayers are focused only on material things\u2014cars, houses, jobs, money. But how many pray, fast, or give just to become more holy<\/strong>? “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.”<\/em> Sadly, fake Christians don\u2019t hunger for righteousness. They hunger for wealth. And because of that, they become the fuel behind false prophets.<\/p>\n False prophets thrive because there\u2019s a market<\/strong> for deception. And fake Christians are the primary customers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers.”<\/em> If fake Christians didn\u2019t exist, false prophets would have no platform. No influence. No audience. But because people crave comfort over conviction, and wealth over wisdom, false teachers multiply.<\/p>\n They preach \u201cbreakthrough,\u201d \u201cfinancial release,\u201d and \u201cmiracle promotions\u201d\u2014and people flock to hear them.<\/p>\n Why? Because:<\/p>\n “They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.”<\/em> False prophets grow richer, not because of God\u2019s blessing\u2014but because fake Christians finance them. They give, hoping to buy blessings. They sow \u201cseeds\u201d looking for cars, houses, and visas.<\/p>\n False prophets existed in Bible times too:<\/p>\n “But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you…”<\/em> But what kept them in check?<\/p>\n In the past, the Church was full of spiritually mature believers<\/strong>. People who valued holiness, not hype. Saints who came to church to fast and pray<\/strong>, to be transformed<\/strong>, not entertained.<\/p>\n If someone announced a “special service for financial miracles,\u201d few would show up. But if it was a night of repentance<\/strong> or a Holy Ghost service<\/strong>, the room would be packed.<\/p>\n That\u2019s because Christians then understood this truth:<\/p>\n “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”<\/em> Today, it\u2019s the opposite. People chase material things first<\/strong>, and God last\u2014if at all.<\/p>\n It\u2019s not that they\u2019ve become more powerful\u2014it\u2019s that fake Christians have become more plentiful<\/strong>.<\/p>\n False teachers are simply capitalizing on the desires<\/strong> of people who are looking for a god who serves them<\/em>\u2014not the other way around.<\/p>\n “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light.”<\/em> It\u2019s harvest season for them\u2014because the soil of many hearts has become worldly, selfish, and blind.<\/p>\n Are you seeking God to:<\/p>\n Build a house?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Drive a car?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Get promoted?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n None of these things are wrong in themselves. But when they become your main pursuit<\/strong>, they become idols.<\/p>\n “Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.”<\/em> Today, cars have become gods. Houses have become status. Money is worshipped. Gospel songs are full of prosperity themes. And sermons often sound more like motivational speeches than calls to repentance.<\/p>\n Because it is not<\/strong> from Christ. Jesus warned:<\/p>\n “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?”<\/em> The true fruit of a Spirit-led life isn\u2019t wealth. It\u2019s character<\/strong>, holiness<\/strong>, and spiritual maturity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.”<\/em> When was the last time you:<\/p>\n Fasted simply to grow closer to God?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Gave an offering just to honor Him, not to \u201cget something\u201d?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Prayed that God would remove sin from your life, not just problems?<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n If you\u2019ve never done that\u2014or if you rarely do\u2014then it\u2019s time to examine your faith.<\/p>\n “Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you? \u2014 unless indeed you are disqualified.”<\/em> Leave behind fake Christianity. “And the Spirit and the bride say, \u2018Come!\u2019 And let him who hears say, \u2018Come!\u2019 And let him who thirsts come.
