The Prayer of Salvation:<\/h3>\n

God has a great plan for your life\u2014first, to save you, and second, to reveal His goodness in every area of your life. This decision to receive the Lord Jesus is the wisest choice you will ever make, and you will rejoice over it for all eternity.<\/p>\n

If you are ready to receive salvation, you can take this step of faith right now, wherever you are. Simply kneel before God in humility, and pray the following words sincerely and in faith. At this very moment, salvation will be freely given to you.<\/p>\n

Say this prayer out loud:<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cLord Jesus, I believe that You are the Son of God. I believe that You died for my sins and that You rose again and live forever. I confess that I am a sinner, deserving of judgment and death. But today, I repent of all my sins and surrender my life to You.<\/p>\n

I ask for Your forgiveness, Lord Jesus. Please write my name in the Book of Life. I invite You into my heart to be my Lord and Savior from this day forward. I choose to follow and obey You all the days of my life.<\/p>\n

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for forgiving me and saving me. Amen.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

What Just Happened?<\/h3>\n

By sincerely praying that simple prayer, the Lord Jesus has already forgiven your sins. Remember, forgiveness is not about pleading with God over and over again for the number of sins you\u2019ve committed, as though you’re trying to persuade Him. No.<\/p>\n

God has already provided forgiveness through the death of Jesus Christ on the cross. Now it is our responsibility to receive<\/em> that forgiveness in our hearts by believing in what God has done through Jesus.<\/p>\n

As the Apostle Paul wrote:<\/p>\n

Romans 10:9\u201310 (NIV)<\/strong>
\u201cIf you declare with your mouth, \u2018Jesus is Lord,\u2019 and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

What Does It Mean to Believe?<\/h3>\n

When the Bible says “believe,” it means accepting by faith the finished work of Jesus on the cross\u2014His death as the full payment for our sins.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s like someone offering you a diamond and saying, \u201cIf you accept this, your poverty will be over.\u201d Your part is not to cry or beg, but simply to believe that what they are offering is real and valuable\u2014and then accept it.<\/p>\n

Likewise, Jesus offers us forgiveness of sin. He says, \u201cIf you believe that I died to completely remove your sins, then you will be saved.\u201d
When you believe that Jesus died for you and accept Him as Lord and Savior, your sins are erased\u2014no matter how many they were.<\/p>\n

\n

Why the Prayer Was Enough:<\/h3>\n

That short but heartfelt prayer is enough to make you a child of God. Why? Because by it, you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. That is the basis of salvation. As Jesus Himself declared:<\/p>\n

John 1:12 (NIV)<\/strong>
\u201cYet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

You are now born again. Welcome to the family of God!<\/p>\n
