Answer:<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bible teaches us that God created one man and one woman as the origin of the entire human race. This foundational truth is stated clearly in the book of Genesis:<\/p>\n

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.<\/em><\/p>\n

Genesis 1:27, ESV<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This verse emphasizes both the unity and dignity of all human beings. God did not create multiple races or ethnicities in the beginning. He made one man\u2014Adam\u2014and one woman\u2014Eve, from whom all human beings have descended.<\/p>\n

\n

The man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Genesis 3:20, ESV<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This means Eve is the mother of every human being\u2014regardless of race, skin tone, or ethnicity. The idea that Adam and Eve were White, Black, Asian, or any modern classification is a misunderstanding of Scripture and history. Adam and Eve were created in a unique state of perfection, clothed in God’s glory\u2014a glory that was lost when they sinned.<\/p>\n

The Fall and the Beginning of Change<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adam and Eve were created sinless and immortal. But when they disobeyed God and ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (Genesis 3), sin entered the world, and with it came death, corruption, and decay.<\/p>\n

Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned.<\/em><\/p>\n

Romans 5:12, ESV<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

This fall affected their bodies, their environment, and all their descendants. The glory they once had faded (Romans 3:23), and their appearance began to change. For the first time, they felt shame and fear (Genesis 3:10), and their bodies became subject to suffering and environmental stress\u2014sunlight, thorns, sweat, and disease (Genesis 3:17\u201319). Humanity began to age and die.<\/p>\n

This shift also marked the beginning of physical adaptation over generations. As people moved and settled in different climates after the fall and later after the flood, their bodies adapted to the regions they lived in\u2014producing the diversity we see today.<\/p>\n

The Flood and the Division of Nations<\/strong><\/p>\n

By the time of Noah, the earth had become full of violence and wickedness. God judged the world with a flood (Genesis 6\u20139), saving only Noah, his family, and the animals in the ark. After the flood, God instructed Noah\u2019s sons\u2014Shem, Ham, and Japheth\u2014to repopulate the earth:<\/p>\n

And you, be fruitful and multiply, increase greatly on the earth and multiply in it.<\/em><\/p>\n

Genesis 9:7, ESV<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

From these three sons, the nations of the world were born (see Genesis 10). Eventually, people gathered together and sought to build a tower (the Tower of Babel) in rebellion against God\u2019s command to spread out.<\/p>\n

And the Lord said, \u2018Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language… Come, let us go down and there confuse their language…\u2019 So the Lord dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth.<\/em><\/p>\n

Genesis 11:6\u20138, ESV<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

From that point, languages were confused, and people were scattered across the globe\u2014settling in different regions and climates. Over time, people began to adapt physically and culturally to their environments:<\/p>\n

In hotter regions (e.g., Africa): darker skin tones developed due to higher melanin levels protecting against the sun.<\/p>\n

In colder climates (e.g., Europe or parts of Asia): lighter skin and longer hair became more common due to lower sunlight and the body\u2019s need to absorb more Vitamin D.<\/p>\n

In island and jungle regions: adaptation produced various features based on local survival needs.<\/p>\n

These changes happened gradually over generations and were not a sign of different races\u2014but of one humanity adapting to God\u2019s diverse creation.<\/p>\n

All People Are One in God\u2019s Eyes<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Bible strongly affirms the unity of the human race. There is one Creator, one origin, and one destiny for all people. The Apostle Paul declares:<\/p>\n

And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place. <\/em><\/p>\n

Acts 17:26, ESV<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Paul goes on to explain that God created humanity so that we would seek Him (Acts 17:27). This shows that no ethnic group is superior or inferior\u2014all are made in God’s image and all are in need of salvation through Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n

In Christ, the walls that divide humanity are broken down:<\/p>\n

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.<\/em><\/p>\n

Galatians 3:28, ESV<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

God\u2019s ultimate plan is to redeem a people from every tribe, language, people, and nation through the blood of Christ.<\/p>\n

Worthy are you\u2026 for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation.<\/em><\/p>\n

Revelation 5:9, ESV<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

In Conclusion:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Adam and Eve were the first human beings, created uniquely in God\u2019s image\u2014not according to any modern racial identity.<\/p>\n

All people today\u2014regardless of skin tone or ethnicity\u2014descend from them.<\/p>\n

The differences we see in appearance today are due to generational adaptation to climate and geography, not because God created different “races.”<\/p>\n

Theologically, there is only one race\u2014the human race\u2014created by God and redeemed through Christ.<\/p>\n

Racism and division are not of God. Unity in Christ is God’s goal for humanity.<\/p>\n

Let us then walk in love, knowing that we are all brothers and sisters under one Creator\u2014and one Redeemer, the Lord Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n
