Blessed be the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever and ever.<\/p>\n

Welcome to today\u2019s study of God\u2019s Word as we continue with the final section of the book of Jude.<\/p>\n

Jude 1:14\u201315<\/strong>
\u201cEnoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: \u2018Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His holy ones, to execute judgment on all, and to convict all the ungodly of all their deeds of ungodliness that they have committed in such an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things that ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

These verses remind us that final judgment is certain. Enoch, long before the flood, foresaw the return of Christ with His saints to judge the ungodly (cf. Matthew 16:27<\/strong>, 2 Thessalonians 1:7\u20139<\/strong>, Revelation 19:11\u201316<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Jude 1:16\u201321<\/strong> warns about false believers and scoffers:
\u201cThese are grumblers, malcontents, following their own sinful desires; they are loud-mouthed boasters, showing favoritism to gain advantage. But you, beloved, remember the predictions of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. They said to you, \u2018In the last time there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions.\u2019 It is these who cause divisions, worldly people, devoid of the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ that leads to eternal life.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Jude exhorts believers to remain steadfast in the faith through prayer, perseverance, and anticipation of Christ\u2019s mercy.<\/p>\n

\n

The Three Types of False Teachers<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Earlier, we learned about three categories of false workers that Satan has planted in God\u2019s church\u2014those compared to \u201cwandering stars\u201d destined for eternal darkness, \u201cfruitless trees twice dead,\u201d and \u201cdangerous hidden reefs\u201d (Jude 1:12\u201313). These are likened to \u201cweeds among the wheat\u201d (Matthew 13:24\u201330<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

Jude 1:11 names them:
\u201cWoe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam’s error and perished in Korah’s rebellion.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
