\u201c<\/strong>Trust in Jesus whose works never cease.\u201d<\/strong>
Blessed be the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Word of God declares:<\/p>\n

\n

John 21:25 \u2013 \u201cJesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If you are a careful reader of the Bible, you will realize that the four Gospels \u2013 Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John \u2013 share many similar accounts about the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. However, they also contain unique stories that are only found in one Gospel and not the others.<\/p>\n

Unique Accounts in the Gospels<\/h3>\n

For example, the story of the Samaritan woman at the well, a deep and powerful encounter revealing Jesus\u2019 heart for the marginalized, is only found in the Gospel of John (John 4:1\u201342). Had John not written his Gospel, we might have missed this incredible lesson on grace and truth.<\/p>\n

Likewise, the raising of Lazarus from the dead, one of the most astonishing miracles of Jesus, is recorded only in John 11:1\u201344. No other Gospel mentions it.<\/p>\n

Another miracle found only in Luke\u2019s Gospel is when Jesus raised the only son of a widow in the town of Nain:<\/p>\n

Luke 7:11\u201317 \u2013 “Then he went up and touched the bier they were carrying him on, and the bearers stood still. He said, \u2018Young man, I say to you, get up!\u2019\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The town was filled with awe and glorified God. This miracle displayed Christ\u2019s deep compassion and power over death.<\/p>\n

Matthew, too, records an exclusive event: the resurrection of many saints after Jesus\u2019 death on the cross:<\/p>\n

Matthew 27:51\u201353 \u2013 \u201c\u2026The tombs broke open and the bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If the Gospel of Matthew did not exist, this astonishing event would have been unknown to us.<\/p>\n

\n

An Overflow of Miracles Untold<\/h3>\n

The Gospels provide just a glimpse of Jesus\u2019 work. Imagine if every apostle or eyewitness of Jesus\u2019 ministry were given the opportunity to write down everything they saw and heard. The world could not contain the books.<\/p>\n

\n

As John wrote: \u201cEven the world itself could not contain the books.\u201d
(John 21:25)<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Every second of Jesus\u2019 ministry was filled with prophetic words and miraculous deeds. Even His earthly occupation as a carpenter may have been filled with extraordinary moments that were never recorded.<\/p>\n

Think of Mary, His mother\u2014had she written all she witnessed from His birth to His ascension, she might have authored volumes upon volumes.<\/p>\n

Even Joseph, His earthly father, had he written down his own experiences with Jesus, what incredible revelations we might have received.<\/p>\n

And consider Pilate\u2019s wife, who received a divine dream and warned her husband:<\/p>\n

Matthew 27:19 \u2013 “Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for I have suffered much because of him today in a dream.”<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

If she had written out the details of that dream, perhaps we would have even more insight into God\u2019s supernatural warnings and involvement.<\/p>\n

What about the Roman guards at Jesus\u2019 tomb? They were eyewitnesses of the resurrection. If they had testified in writing, how much more would we know about that holy moment?<\/p>\n

\n

Even Now \u2013 He is Still Working<\/h3>\n

Even today, Jesus continues to work in the lives of His people. If each believer were to write down the miracles, transformations, and encounters they’ve experienced with Christ, billions of books would be written. He is still the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).<\/p>\n

So then, why would anyone not put their trust in this Jesus, who is full of endless works, mercy, and power?<\/p>\n

\n

Jesus \u2013 Above All Men in History<\/h3>\n

There has never been, nor will there ever be, a man who has impacted the world like Jesus Christ.<\/p>\n
