Hosea 10:12 (ESV)<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap steadfast love; break up your fallow ground, for it is the time to seek the Lord, that he may come and rain righteousness upon you.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We are living in a season where seeking God cannot be superficial<\/strong>. The Word of God compares us to farmers <\/strong>sowers with the intent to harvest what we plant.<\/p>\n

But no wise farmer simply throws seeds on hard, unbroken ground and expects a fruitful harvest. A true farmer, especially one planting grain, will take a strong plow and dig deep into the soil<\/strong>. Sweat pours from his brow as he works hard to break the ground <\/strong>even if it is dry, rocky, or tough so that the seeds can take root and produce fruit.<\/p>\n

The Spiritual Plowing: A Call to Deep Devotion<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This is exactly what God is calling us to do:<\/p>\n

\u201cBreak up the fallow ground of your hearts, for it is time to seek the Lord.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

To seek the Lord<\/strong> is to dig deep<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

That means:<\/p>\n
