If someone were to ask you, \u201cWhat does it mean to be successful?\u201d\u00a0 most people would probably answer:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cTo have a good job, a decent income, and good health.\u201d
\nThat\u2019s a simple and understandable answer in the natural sense.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

But let\u2019s now consider a deeper question in the spiritual realm<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

What is eternal life?<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Bible gives us a very clear and direct answer.<\/p>\n

John 17:3 (ESV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cAnd this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So eternal life is found in knowing God and Jesus Christ.<\/strong>
\nThis is not mere intellectual knowledge\u00a0 it is relational, spiritual, and transformative.<\/p>\n

\n

IS JESUS DIFFERENT FROM GOD?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Now, some people wonder: Is God different from Jesus?
\nThe answer is No.<\/strong>
\nThere is One God<\/strong> who reveals Himself in different manifestations<\/strong>\u00a0 not different gods or separate beings.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s an illustration:
\nSomeone can see you in person (live), or they can see your photo. Your photo and your physical presence are not two different people<\/strong>\u00a0 they\u2019re different manifestations of the same person<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Jesus is the full image of the invisible God<\/strong>. When we see Jesus, we are seeing God in His fullness.<\/p>\n

Colossians 1:15 (ESV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cHe is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

John 14:8-9 (ESV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

8 Philip said to him, \u201cLord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.\u201d
\n9 Jesus said to him, \u201cHave I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, \u2018Show us the Father\u2019?\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

John 14:7 (ESV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cIf you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So we understand that to know Jesus is to know the Father<\/strong>\u00a0 because Jesus is the manifestation<\/strong> of God in the flesh.<\/p>\n

\n

JESUS IS THE REVELATION OF GOD<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Jesus is not simply a prophet or a messenger\u00a0 He is God incarnate<\/strong>.
\nTo reject Jesus is to reject God.
\nYou cannot claim to know God while denying Jesus.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s like someone saying they know you, but they reject your photo\u00a0 they\u2019re calling you a liar, because your photo is an expression of who you are.<\/p>\n

In the same way:<\/p>\n

1 John 5:10 (ESV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cWhoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. Whoever does not believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has borne concerning his Son.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

If you deny Jesus, you\u2019re denying the very testimony of God Himself.<\/p>\n

\n

YOU CANNOT KNOW GOD OUTSIDE OF JESUS<\/strong><\/h2>\n

John 8:19 (ESV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cThey said to him therefore, \u2018Where is your Father?\u2019 Jesus answered, \u2018You know neither me nor my Father. If you knew me, you would know my Father also.\u2019\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So today, eternal life is found in Jesus alone<\/strong> not in religion, not in good works, not in any other prophet or teacher. Jesus alone<\/strong> is the way to the Father.<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t try to know God outside of Christ\u00a0 it is a waste of time<\/strong>.
\nDon\u2019t try to serve God outside of Christ\u00a0 it is futile<\/strong>.
\nDon\u2019t seek eternal life apart from Jesus\u00a0 you\u2019ll end up losing both your time and your soul.<\/p>\n

\n

NO SUBSTITUTE FOR JESUS<\/strong><\/h2>\n

If someone\u00a0 be it a prophet, an apostle, a pastor, or even a priest\u00a0 teaches that there is another way to Heaven apart from Jesus<\/strong>, run away from them!<\/strong><\/p>\n

If anyone claims there are others who can perform the same work as Jesus\u00a0 whether saints, angels, or mystics\u00a0 reject that teaching immediately!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jesus has no twin<\/strong>, no backup, no alternate route to God.
\nSome say, \u201cThrough saint so and so, we can get to God.\u201d
\nBut the truth is: Only Jesus reveals God<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

1 Timothy 2:5 (ESV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cFor there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cAnd without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh<\/strong>, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So unless we believe in Jesus as God manifest in the flesh<\/strong>, we do not have eternal life<\/strong>\u00a0 no matter how many good deeds we perform. Once you’ve heard the truth of who Jesus is and still reject Him, you are choosing spiritual death.<\/p>\n

\n

DO YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

So I ask you:<\/p>\n

Do you have eternal life?<\/strong>
\nHave you believed in Jesus Christ?
\nAre you doing what He says?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Jesus warned:<\/p>\n

Luke 6:46\u201349 (ESV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\u201cWhy do you call me \u2018Lord, Lord,\u2019 and not do what I tell you?
\nEveryone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like:
\nhe is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.
\nBut the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Believe in Jesus, and obey what He says.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

That is the path to eternal life.<\/strong><\/p>\n
