Isaiah 30:21 (KJV):<\/strong>
\n\u201cAnd thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As children of God, we all face moments when we must make decisions some we consider right, others we later realize were wrong. Sometimes we take the path to the right, and other times to the left. But regardless of the direction, we are all in desperate need of God’s guidance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Many believers assume that when they make a “right” decision, they are automatically on God’s path, and when they make a “wrong” one, they are lost. However, the truth is more profound: Even in our seemingly right decisions, we still need God’s direction.<\/strong> Success in itself is not confirmation that we are walking in God’s will.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 30:21 reminds us that whether we turn to the right or to the left<\/strong>, the voice of the Lord will still speak to us, saying:
\n\u201cThis is the way; walk in it.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

When Do We Seek God\u2019s Guidance?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sadly, many of us only cry out to God when things are going wrong during hard times, regrets, loss, sickness, or seasons of spiritual drought (what this message refers to as the \u201cleft hand path\u201d).<\/p>\n

But how few seek God’s guidance when things are going well during seasons of success, promotion, health, abundance, and peace (the \u201cright hand path\u201d)!<\/p>\n

We often mistake prosperity for God’s approval. But prosperity is not proof of alignment with God\u2019s will<\/strong>. There are people who appear to have it all together: wealth, stable marriages, intelligence, hard work, and influence. Yet, some of them do not seek God. Their lives seem right in every human sense but without God’s voice leading them, they may still be heading toward destruction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

The Danger of Self Directed Success<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Proverbs 16:25 (KJV):<\/strong>
\n\u201cThere is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

This verse warns us that not everything that appears right is truly right in God\u2019s eyes<\/strong>. Success without divine direction is dangerous. It can lead to pride, complacency, or eternal loss.<\/p>\n

Jesus gave a powerful parable about this in Luke 12:<\/p>\n

\n

The Parable of the Rich Fool<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Luke 12:16\u201321 (ESV):<\/strong><\/p>\n

16 And he told them a parable, saying, \u201cThe land of a rich man produced plentifully,
\n17 and he thought to himself, \u2018What shall I do, for I have nowhere to store my crops?\u2019
\n18 And he said, \u2018I will do this: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.
\n19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have ample goods laid up for many years; relax, eat, drink, be merry.\u2019
\n20 But God said to him, \u2018Fool! This night your soul is required of you, and the things you have prepared, whose will they be?\u2019
\n21 So is the one who lays up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The man made a wise economic decision <\/strong>he saved and expanded but he failed spiritually. Why? Because he didn\u2019t seek God\u2019s guidance<\/strong>, nor did he consider the eternal consequences<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n

Begin Every Day with God<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Every morning when you rise, start the day with the Lord<\/strong>. The devil, like a roaring lion, seeks someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Do not assume that just because things are going well, you don\u2019t need God.<\/p>\n

Whatever your status pastor, prophet, president, or billionaire you must humble yourself before God<\/strong>. It is not about your title or achievements but your dependence on His direction.<\/p>\n

\n

How Does God Speak?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

God speaks in many ways:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. By His Spirit<\/strong>\u00a0 leading and convicting your heart (Romans 8:14).<\/li>\n
  2. Through His Word<\/strong>\u00a0 the Bible, which is a lamp to our feet (Psalm 119:105).<\/li>\n
  3. Through His peace<\/strong> God\u2019s peace can guide decisions (Colossians 3:15).<\/li>\n
  4. Through godly counsel<\/strong>\u00a0 sometimes He speaks through others (Proverbs 11:14).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The key is to be a person of prayer and humility<\/strong>, constantly seeking His voice. He will not let you go astray.<\/p>\n

    \u201cYour ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, \u2018This is the way, walk in it,\u2019 whenever you turn to the right hand or whenever you turn to the left.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

    Don\u2019t only seek God in trouble. Seek Him in triumph.<\/strong> In every decision big or small call upon the Lord and ask:
    \n\u201cLord, is this Your way?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

    And He, the faithful Shepherd, will lead you in paths of righteousness (Psalm 23:3).<\/p>\n

    Walk in His ways not just when the road is rough, but even when the path seems smooth.<\/p>\n
