The Word of God clearly teaches:<\/p>\n
Romans 14:10-12 (ESV)<\/strong> The day of judgment is coming<\/strong>, a day when each individual will stand alone before God\u2019s judgment seat to give an account of their life\u2014whether righteous or sinful. Ecclesiastes 3:17 (NIV)<\/strong> emphasizes this truth: \u201cI said to myself, \u2018God will bring into judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time to judge every deed.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The judgment of the righteous is fundamentally different from the judgment of the wicked. The righteous are not judged for punishment<\/strong> but for reward<\/strong>. God evaluates faithfulness and stewardship:<\/p>\n Luke 19:17 (NIV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cWell done, good servant! Because you have been faithful in a very little, you will have authority over ten cities.\u201d<\/p>\n Faithful believers will receive rewards according to their faithfulness; those who were less faithful will receive less. But the unfaithful and wicked\u2014those who reject Christ\u2014will face eternal punishment in the lake of fire<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Revelation 20:14-15 (ESV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cThen Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone\u2019s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.\u201d<\/p>\n Severe punishment is proportional to knowledge and opportunity:<\/p>\n Luke 12:47-48 (KJV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cAnd that servant which knew his lord\u2019s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n On that day, nothing will remain hidden. Every thought, intention, word, and action\u2014whether public or secret\u2014will be exposed:<\/p>\n Luke 12:2-3 (NIV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cThere is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. Whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.\u201d<\/p>\n Matthew 12:36-37 (ESV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cI tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.\u201d<\/p>\n This judgment is personal, not collective<\/strong>. Each person stands alone before God. You cannot blame society, family, or friends. Galatians 6:5 (NIV)<\/strong> reinforces this: \u201cFor each one should carry their own load.\u201d<\/p>\n If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, today is the day. Salvation is essential, not just to avoid judgment but to receive eternal life. John 3:16-17 (ESV)<\/strong>: \u201cFor God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him.\u201d<\/p>\n True salvation involves repentance, turning away from sin, and surrendering fully to Christ:<\/p>\n Acts 3:19 (NIV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cRepent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.\u201d<\/p>\n This repentance includes renouncing sinful behaviors, forsaking worldly pleasures, and committing to a life of holiness:<\/p>\n Stop drinking alcohol, smoking, and engaging in immorality.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Remove worldly music, videos, and influences.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Submit yourself fully to God\u2019s Word and live under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n When you repent sincerely, God\u2019s mercy and grace bring forgiveness and inner peace:<\/p>\n 1 John 1:9 (NIV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cIf we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.\u201d<\/p>\n The peace that enters the believer\u2019s heart is a supernatural confirmation of forgiveness<\/strong>, a peace that transcends understanding:<\/p>\n Philippians 4:7 (ESV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cAnd the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.\u201d<\/p>\n Do not quench the Holy Spirit. Seek a true church, a mature Christian mentor, or a ministry that teaches the Word of God faithfully. Learn to read the Bible for yourself and be baptized in accordance with scripture. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth and protect your path:<\/p>\n John 16:13 (NIV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cBut when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.\u201d<\/p>\n Practical Call to Action:<\/strong> The Lord bless you.
