Shalom, beloved of God.<\/strong> The term “mystery”<\/strong> in the Bible (Greek: myst\u0113rion<\/em>) does not<\/strong> refer to something mystical or incomprehensible forever. Rather, it means a truth that was previously hidden but has now been revealed by divine revelation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201c…according to the revelation of the mystery that was kept secret for long ages but has now been disclosed…\u201d<\/em> In English and biblical Greek, there is a distinction between:<\/p>\n This is crucial: the “mystery of God”<\/strong> is not merely a secret, but a divine revelation previously unknown to humans and angels alike<\/strong>, now revealed in Christ.<\/p>\n Mysteries in the Bible are truths beyond natural comprehension<\/strong>\u2014not discoverable by intellect or science.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cWhere is the way to the dwelling of light, and where is the place of darkness?\u201d<\/em> Even today, with all our scientific advances, we still cannot fully explain the origin of light<\/strong> or the departure of darkness<\/strong>. These are divine mysteries\u2014known only to God.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cYou knitted me together in my mother\u2019s womb.\u201d<\/em> The formation of life in the womb<\/strong>, down to bones and hair, remains a mystery beyond full comprehension. It reflects the invisible hand of God in creation.<\/p>\n The primary mystery<\/strong> revealed in the New Testament is not just about Christ dying for sin, but something far greater:<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201c…the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. To them God chose to make known…the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.\u201d<\/strong><\/em> This was unthinkable<\/strong> in the Old Testament. God’s covenant was with Israel<\/strong>, His chosen people. The Gentiles<\/strong> (non-Jews) were considered unclean, alienated<\/em>, and without hope (Ephesians 2:11\u201312). But in Christ, this wall of separation was destroyed.<\/p>\n Paul, by the Holy Spirit, was uniquely entrusted with the administration (stewardship) of this mystery<\/strong>:<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cWhen you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations…\u201d<\/em> \ud83d\udcd6 *\u201cThis mystery is that the *Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel.\u201d<\/em> This truth\u2014that Gentiles (non-Jews) are co-heirs with Israel<\/strong>\u2014was hidden from previous generations. Even prophets like Moses<\/strong>, Elijah<\/strong>, and David<\/strong> never saw its full scope.<\/p>\n This was not simply God allowing<\/em> Gentiles into His family\u2014it was the very center of His redemptive plan from eternity<\/strong>. The Jewish Messiah would die not just for Israel, but for the world<\/strong> (John 3:16).<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201c…I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also…\u201d<\/em> This is not just forgiveness\u2014it is transformation<\/strong>. Through faith, Christ dwells in our hearts (Ephesians 3:17). The Holy Spirit regenerates, empowers, and sanctifies us. This was unknown to the Old Covenant saints.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cDo you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?\u201d<\/em> God\u2019s intent is that this mystery be made known to spiritual powers<\/strong>, not just people:<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201c…so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.\u201d<\/em> Even angels didn\u2019t fully understand this mystery until it unfolded.<\/p>\n This mystery has been revealed not for speculation, but for transformation<\/strong>. \ud83d\udcd6 \u201c…things into which angels long to look.\u201d<\/em> So how should we respond?<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cHow shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?\u201d<\/em> Salvation is not just an offer\u2014it\u2019s a heavenly summons<\/strong>. \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cAnd the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.\u201d<\/em> If your name is not found in the Book of Life<\/strong>, your destiny is eternal separation:<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cIf anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.\u201d<\/em> If you’ve never surrendered your life to Jesus Christ\u2014today is the day.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cBehold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.\u201d<\/em> You may be Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, or from any background\u2014the gospel is for you. The mystery has now been made known to you<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Turn from all sin\u2014sexual immorality, drunkenness, hate, pride, gossip, pornography, etc.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cRepent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out.\u201d<\/em> Place your full trust in Jesus Christ\u2014the Son of God who died and rose again.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cBelieve in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.\u201d<\/em> As the early church practiced, be baptized by full immersion<\/strong> in water in the name of Jesus Christ<\/strong> for the forgiveness of sins.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201cRepent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins…\u201d<\/em> You will receive power to live a holy life. This is not behavior modification\u2014it\u2019s heart transformation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \ud83d\udcd6 \u201c…you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.\u201d<\/em> If you\u2019ve walked away, know that Satan desires to see you perish. Don\u2019t let his plan succeed. The lake of fire was prepared for him\u2014not you.<\/p>\n Resist him. Return to your Father. There is grace<\/strong> waiting for you.<\/p>\n This is the mystery of God<\/strong>:<\/p>\n That through the cross, Christ would make both Jew and Gentile one, bringing us near by His blood and dwelling within us by His Spirit.<\/em> Do not delay.
