The term \u201carmies\u201d indicates that these forces are many and structured<\/strong>, and the word \u201cevil\u201d shows their intent: to harm and oppose God\u2019s plan.<\/p>\n Before we understand how demons operate, it is important to know the purpose of holy angels<\/strong>. Angels are created spiritual beings whose primary purpose is to serve God and assist His people.<\/p>\n 2 Peter 2:4 (KJV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cFor if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Psalm 91:11 (NIV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cFor he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Demons were once angels who rebelled against God (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:12-19). They function like armies, cooperating and imitating the strategies of holy angels. Understanding how they work is essential for enduring in faith.<\/p>\n Prayer<\/strong> \u2013 Prayer is the foundation of spiritual defense.<\/p>\n Matthew 26:41 (ESV)<\/strong> \u2013 \u201cWatch and pray that you may not enter into temptation.
