Shalom, beloved in Christ.
\nWe are living in the very last days \u2014 days in which every prophecy spoken by the Lord Jesus Christ concerning the end of the world is being fulfilled before our very eyes.<\/p>\n
The Bible says:<\/p>\n
\u201cBut know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
\nFor men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
\nunloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
\ntraitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
\nhaving a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!\u201d
\n\u2014 2 Timothy 3:1\u20135<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\nWhen we look at the world today, we see exactly what Paul warned Timothy about.
\nPeople are self-centered, driven by greed, pleasure, and rebellion. Evil is celebrated while righteousness is mocked.
\nChurches are full of people who profess to know God but live lives that contradict His Word.<\/p>\n
\nTHE WORLD IS PASSING AWAY<\/h2>\n
The Apostle John also warned us long ago that the world is fading \u2014 its pleasures, its pride, and its desires are only temporary.<\/p>\n
\u201cDo not love the world or the things in the world.
\nIf anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
\nFor all that is in the world \u2014 the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life \u2014
\nis not of the Father but is of the world.
\nAnd the world is passing away, and the lust of it;
\nbut he who does the will of God abides forever.\u201d
\n\u2014 1 John 2:15\u201317<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\nBeloved, this world is not our home.
\nEverything you see \u2014 the wealth, fame, technology, and power \u2014 will soon perish.
\nThe kingdoms of this earth will fall, and the Kingdom of God will stand forever.<\/p>\n
\nSIGNS OF THE END ARE EVERYWHERE<\/h2>\n
Jesus Himself told His disciples about the signs that would precede His return:<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd you will hear of wars and rumors of wars.
\nSee that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
\nFor nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
\nAnd there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
\nAll these are the beginning of sorrows.\u201d
\n\u2014 Matthew 24:6\u20138<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\nLook around today \u2014 these words are being fulfilled.
\nWe hear of wars across nations, earthquakes shaking the earth, deadly diseases spreading worldwide, and moral decay at its peak.
\nAll these are signs of the end, warnings to awaken those who are asleep spiritually.<\/p>\n
\nTHE DANGER OF SPIRITUAL SLEEP<\/h2>\n
Jesus warned His followers not to be caught unaware, saying:<\/p>\n
\u201cWatch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.\u201d
\n\u2014 Matthew 25:13<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\nSadly, many Christians today have fallen into spiritual slumber.
\nThey have grown comfortable with the world \u2014 seeking success, entertainment, and comfort more than holiness and obedience to God.
\nYet the Lord says:<\/p>\n\u201cBehold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.\u201d
\n\u2014 Revelation 16:15<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\nNow is the time to wake up!
\nNow is the time to repent, to turn from sin, and to live a life that pleases God.<\/p>\n
\nPREPARE FOR THE COMING OF THE LORD<\/h2>\n
The coming of the Lord is very near. The trumpet could sound at any moment.
\nJesus said:<\/p>\n\u201cThen two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
\nTwo women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.\u201d
\n\u2014 Matthew 24:40\u201341<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\nAsk yourself \u2014 where will you be when that moment comes?
\nWill you be found faithful, walking in righteousness, or entangled in sin and worldliness?<\/p>\nThe Lord is calling His people to purity and holiness.
\nHe is calling us to separate from the world and to live as pilgrims who are waiting for their eternal home.<\/p>\n
\nTHE CALL TO REPENTANCE<\/h2>\n
\u201cTherefore, since all these things will be dissolved,
\nwhat manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness,
\nlooking for and hastening the coming of the day of God?\u201d
\n\u2014 2 Peter 3:11\u201312<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\nWe must live daily with eternity in mind \u2014 praying, forgiving, loving, and serving faithfully.
\nThis is not the time to compromise or to play with sin.
\nIt is the time to stand firm in truth and righteousness, for the day of the Lord will come suddenly.<\/p>\n\u201cBut the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night,
\nin which the heavens will pass away with a great noise,
\nand the elements will melt with fervent heat;
\nboth the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.\u201d
\n\u2014 2 Peter 3:10<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
\nA FINAL WARNING AND ENCOURAGEMENT<\/h2>\n
Do not delay your repentance.
\nIf you have not yet given your life to Christ, do so today \u2014 not tomorrow.
\nThe Lord Jesus died on the cross to save you from eternal destruction.
\nHe is still calling, still forgiving, and still transforming lives.<\/p>\n\u201cSeek the Lord while He may be found,
\nCall upon Him while He is near.\u201d
\n\u2014 Isaiah 55:6<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\nTime is short. The end is near.
\nLet us be ready, for the King of Kings is coming soon!<\/p>\n
\nPrayer:
\nLord Jesus, open my eyes to see the times we are living in.
\nGive me a heart that loves righteousness and hates sin.
\nHelp me to be ready for Your coming and to walk daily in Your truth.
\nAmen.<\/p>\n
