As we approach the last days, the spiritual labor required has increased. Yet, the work itself has become simpler: we are not called to plow or plant physically but to harvest souls for Christ.<\/p>\n Jesus used agricultural imagery to teach spiritual truths. Consider this illustration:<\/p>\n One worker may be given a small, overgrown field of two acres, requiring immense effort to clear and cultivate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Another may be given ten acres, but the work is simply harvesting what has already grown.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The first laborer represents those who pioneer ministry\u2014planting and watering in spiritually \u201chard\u201d places. The second represents those who reap\u2014bringing to maturity what others have sown. Salvation begins here on earth, and the fields we labor in represent the world where God\u2019s Kingdom is advancing.<\/p>\n Many people have already heard about Jesus; some have even responded superficially but remain spiritually immature. Our role is to help these believers move from being \u201cname Christians\u201d to fully surrendered followers of Christ.<\/p>\n Theological points to consider:<\/p>\n Prevenient Grace:<\/strong> God has already worked in people\u2019s lives through past teaching and influence (John 4:38).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Partnership in Ministry:<\/strong> Evangelism is cooperative; we reap what others have sown.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Kingdom Work Today:<\/strong> The modern church must engage in active soul-winning, discipleship, and prayer for laborers, as the fields remain vast and full of spiritual danger (Ephesians 6:12).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n The message is clear: The work is great, the harvest is ready, but the workers are few. Each believer must stand in their place, offering themselves to God\u2019s service, while also praying for others to be sent.
