If the Rapture<\/strong> does not occur today and you are left behind, know this: the world will only have seven years remaining<\/strong> before its end. Everything that seems permanent today will fade. These seven years correspond to the final \u201cweek\u201d of Daniel\u2019s prophecy:<\/p>\n (Daniel 9:24, ESV)<\/em><\/p>\n “Seventy weeks are decreed about your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal both vision and prophet, and to anoint a most holy place”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Only one week<\/strong>\u2014seven years\u2014remains, marking the final period of tribulation.<\/p>\n The seven-year period is divided into two halves of 3.5 years each<\/strong>.<\/p>\n During this period, the Antichrist rises to power<\/strong>, establishes a covenant with many nations (including Israel), and begins to consolidate control.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Scripture confirms:<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n “Daniel 9:27, ESV).<\/em><\/p>\n And he shall make a strong covenant with many for one week, and for half of the week he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The two witnesses<\/strong> described in Revelation 11 will prophesy in Jerusalem:<\/p>\n “Revelation 11:3, ESV).<\/em><\/p>\n And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Their ministry will involve signs and judgments, and their eventual death will be celebrated by the world, reflecting humanity\u2019s rebellion against God.<\/p>\n Theological insight:<\/strong> This period demonstrates the limits of human power under God\u2019s sovereignty<\/strong>\u2014even the Antichrist only acts within the timeline God has set.<\/p>\n After the first half, the Antichrist will exercise full authority and enforce the mark of the beast (666)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Revelation\u00a0 13 : (16-17 )<\/em><\/p>\n it also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, so that no one could buy or sell unless he had the mark”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Those who refuse the mark will face extreme persecution, including prolonged suffering, as a judgment for rejecting the world\u2019s counterfeit kingdom.<\/p>\n Jesus warned:<\/p>\n “Luke 21:34, ESV).<\/em><\/p>\n But watch yourselves lest your hearts be weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly”\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Theological insight:<\/strong> The Great Tribulation illustrates God\u2019s justice and human accountability<\/strong>, emphasizing that rejection of His covenant has severe consequences.<\/p>\n Even after the seven-year tribulation, the final judgment begins\u2014the Day of the Lord<\/strong>, a terrifying period of cosmic upheaval lasting approximately 30 days:<\/p>\n Amos 5:18, ESV)<\/em><\/p>\n “Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! The Earth itself becomes a testimony of His power and judgment.<\/p>\n After the Day of the Lord, Christ will return in glory<\/strong>:<\/p>\n (Matthew 24:30, ESV).<\/em><\/p>\n Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory” .<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n The remaining wicked will be judged, and Christ will establish His Millennial Kingdom<\/strong> (Revelation 20:4-6).<\/p>\n The Earth will be restored, more beautiful than Eden, free from sin and death.<\/p>\n Theological insight:<\/strong> Christ\u2019s return fulfills God\u2019s covenant promises<\/strong> to the faithful, bringing justice, restoration, and eternal peace.
