That is not what this verse is referring to.<\/p>\n The laughter in question is the laughter that comes from sin or wrongdoing<\/strong>. For example:<\/p>\n Laughing after gaining wealth through injustice<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Laughing after hurting someone<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Laughing after stealing, taking bribes, or committing other evil acts<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n This is the kind of laughter that should be replaced by mourning.<\/p>\n What does this mean for us?<\/strong><\/p>\n When a person recognizes their sin, they should no longer take joy in the evil they\u2019ve done.
