May the great name of our Lord Jesus Christ be blessed forever.
Welcome, let us study His Word together.<\/p>\n

When you read Revelation chapter 12<\/strong>, you will notice that the central theme discussed there is the warfare Satan has been engaged in<\/strong>\u2014beginning in heaven and continuing up to the present time.<\/p>\n

These conflicts are clearly divided into three major stages<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The first stage<\/strong> is the war he fought in heaven together with his angels. He was defeated, and as a result, he was cast down to the earth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The second stage<\/strong> is the war he waged against the woman who gave birth to the male child, a woman who was helped by the earth. This woman represents the nation of Israel as a whole<\/strong>.
When the Lord Jesus was born, Satan\u2014working through Herod\u2014had already begun bringing destruction upon Israel by ordering the killing of all the male children born around the same time as Jesus. His intention was to hunt down and destroy Christ.
However, God intervened and caused Christ to flee to Egypt for a season, and through this, the entire nation was preserved<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The third and final stage<\/strong>, which is the focus of our study today, is the war Satan wages against the rest of the offspring of that woman<\/strong>. These are those who resemble Christ\u2014spiritual Israelites<\/strong>, believers in Christ.
This war began when Christ left the earth, continues to this very day, and will only end at the rapture<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Now there is something very important to notice here.
When Satan began waging war against the Church of Christ, he did not<\/strong> remain in heaven, nor did he stand behind the woman to send a flood as he did earlier. Instead, the Bible tells us that he went and stood on the sand of the sea<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child.
The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent\u2019s reach.
Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.
But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring\u2014those who keep God\u2019s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.
And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\n

Now, what does the sand of the sea represent?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The phrase \u201csand of the sea\u201d<\/em> refers to the seashore<\/strong>, the boundary between the sea and the dry land. This reveals that Satan positions himself at the border<\/strong>, ensuring that whatever comes out of the sea does not easily reach dry land. And even if something manages to cross over, it will not pass without resistance.<\/p>\n

Biblically, the sea or many waters represent the world<\/strong>
(Revelation 17:15<\/em>), while dry land represents salvation<\/strong>.
Jesus told Peter, \u201cCome, follow me, and I will send you out to fish for people.\u201d<\/em>
In other words, to pull people out of the world and bring them into the light of salvation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This means that anyone who is not saved is still in the sea<\/strong>, but when a person is saved, they are transferred from the waters to dry land<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

So here we see Satan standing at the shore. His goal is to resist anyone who is trying to move from the world into salvation<\/strong>\u2014a person who wants to leave a sinful life and enter a new life of holiness.
That is where spiritual warfare is fiercest.<\/strong><\/p>\n

That is where you will encounter Satan most clearly. You will not see him actively fighting someone who remains comfortably in sin. But the day you make a serious decision to change your life, that is the day he will rise up against you<\/strong>, just as he sought to destroy Christ the moment He was born.<\/p>\n

However, it is our responsibility to overcome him<\/strong>, and we overcome him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony<\/strong>, according to:<\/p>\n

Revelation 12:11 (NIV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n
\n

\u201cThey triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So understand this clearly: the moment you decide to make a genuine life transformation is the most critical moment<\/strong>. Satan knows this, and that is why he stations himself there.
Therefore, it is your duty to overcome him\u2014no matter what kind of battle he brings.<\/p>\n

Remember, these are the last days<\/strong>, and Jesus Himself said:<\/p>\n

Matthew 11:12 (NIV)<\/strong><\/h3>\n
\n

\u201cFrom the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been subjected to violence, and violent people have been raiding it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

So you have no reason to fear being mocked, laughed at, rejected, isolated, or ridiculed simply because you have chosen salvation or decided to live a holy life.
Take up your cross and follow Jesus<\/strong>, so that you may receive the crown of victory<\/strong> when the time comes.<\/p>\n
