Blessed be the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This message is a loving and timely warning: Many people—though they may think they’re walking with God—will be shocked to discover they were never truly right with Him. Jesus Himself warned that on the Day of Judgment, many who believed they were safe will be turned away. The root reason? A lack of true holiness.
The Bible makes this unshakably clear: Hebrews 12:14
“Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.”
Holiness isn’t optional—it’s foundational to salvation. This does not mean sinless perfection, but rather a life set apart for God, marked by genuine repentance, obedience, and transformation through the Holy Spirit.
It’s easy to mistake God’s common grace—His kindness to all people—as proof of His approval. Matthew 5:45 says:
“He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.”
Even those who blaspheme, live in sin, or practice witchcraft still experience good things in life. That’s not because they’re right with God, but because God is patient and kind (see Romans 2:4). He is giving them time to repent.
Theological Insight: This is called “common grace”—God’s general goodness extended to all humanity, distinct from “saving grace” which brings redemption to those who believe and obey the gospel (Titus 2:11-12).
Performing miracles, preaching powerfully, or casting out demons are not signs that someone is saved or approved by God. Even those who are spiritually gifted may be disqualified if their hearts are far from Him.
Matthew 7:21–23
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’” Theological Insight: This reflects the biblical doctrine of “false assurance”—the idea that outward religious activity does not equal inward transformation (see 2 Timothy 3:5).

Paul, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, outlines behaviors that clearly disqualify people from entering the kingdom of God:
Galatians 5:19–21
“The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.”
Notice Paul says, “I warn you, as I did before”—he is repeating the warning because it’s that serious. He wants no one to stand before God and say, “I didn’t know.”
Likewise, Ephesians 5:5 echoes this truth:
“For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.” Theological Insight: These passages affirm the necessity of sanctification—the process by which believers grow in holiness, empowered by the Spirit (Romans 8:13; 1 Thessalonians 4:7).

Yes, we should be grateful for God’s healing, provision, protection, and daily mercies. But we must not let those blessings make us spiritually lazy or overconfident. God’s goodness is meant to lead us to repentance:
Romans 2:4
“Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?” Theological Insight: God’s grace teaches us to say “no” to ungodliness (Titus 2:11-12), and to live holy and upright lives in preparation for Christ’s return.

We are not saved by works, but a saved person will bear the fruit of a holy life. Holiness is the evidence of true salvation and the lifestyle of those who belong to God.
2 Corinthians 7:1
“Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.”
Final Exhortation:
Let’s not be deceived. Blessings, miracles, and spiritual activities are not enough. What God desires is a life set apart for Him—a life of humility, repentance, purity, and obedience.
Let us examine our hearts and pursue holiness every day so that when we finally see Him, we will hear the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:21, —not, “I never knew you.”

يُظهر هذا النص بوضوح أن الزواج كان جزءًا من خطة الله منذ الخليقة، وليس مجرد اتفاق اجتماعي. “يكونان جسدًا واحدًا” يشير إلى اتحاد روحي عميق أيضًا، وقد استخدم الرسول بولس هذا الشكل لتوضيح علاقة المسيح بكنيسته (راجع: أفسس 5:31-32). لذلك، الزواج ترتيب إلهي قدّسه الله حتى قبل دخول الخطيئة.
رغم أهمية الزواج، الكتاب المقدس لا يطلب من الجميع أن يتزوجوا. فبعض الناس يُدعَوْن إلى حياة العزوبية من أجل خدمة الله بتركيز أكبر.
(1 كورنثوس 7:32-34 — ترجمة فان دايك)«أُرِيدُ أَنْ تَكُونُوا لاَ مُشْغَلِينَ. الرَّجُلُ الَّذِي هُوَ بِلاَ زَوْجَةٍ يَهْتَمُّ بِأُمُورِ الرَّبِّ، كَيْفَ يُرْضِي الرَّبَّ؛ وَأَمَّا الَّذِي مُتَزَوِّجٌ فَيَهْتَمُّ بِالأُمُورِ الدُّنْيَا، كَيْفَ يُرْضِي زَوْجَتَهُ.»
يوضح الرسول بولس أن العزوبية يمكن أن تتيح تركيزًا أعمق في خدمة الله. وقد وصف بولس هذه الحالة هدية من الله (انظر: 1 كورنثوس 7:7)، لأنها تمنح حرية الروح في العبادة والدعوة دون ما يشتّت الانشغالات الأسرية.
الزواج جميل لكنه أيضًا مسؤولية كبيرة:
أما العازب، فيمتلك حرية أكبر للتفرغ للصلاة والدراسة والخدمة، وهذا يمكن أن يكون ذو قيمة روحية عظيمة في ملكوت الله.
الكتاب المقدس يذكر كثيرين ممن اختاروا العزوبية وكرّسوا حياتهم لخدمة الله:
هذا يبيّن أن العزوبية ليست خيارًا أدنى، بل دعوة حقيقية يمكن أن تكون بركة عظيمة.
الكتاب المقدس يعلّم أن الزواج هو طريقة مقدّسة لإشباع الرغبة الإنسانية:
(1 كورنثوس 7:8-9 — ترجمة فان دايك)«أَقُولُ لِلَّذِينَ هُمْ بِلَا زَوْجٍ وَالْأَرَامِلِ: حَسَنٌ لَهُمْ أَنْ يَكُونُوا كَمَا أَنَا. وَلَكِنْ إِنْ لَمْ يَسْتَطِيعُوا أَنْ يُسَيْطِرُوا، فَلْيَتَزَوَّجُوا، لأَنَّ الزَّوَاجَ أَفْضَلُ مِنَ الْاحْتِرَاقِ.»
الزواج ليس خطيئة؛ الخطية هي تحقيق الشهوة خارج مشيئة الله (انظر: عبرانيين 13:4 — ترجمة فان دايك).
العيش مع شريك بلا زواج يُعد خطيئة في نظر الله، حتى لو عاشا معًا طويلًا أو أنجبا أطفالًا. الله يدعو دائمًا إلى القداسة وتنظيم العلاقة حسب مشيئته:

الزواج إذًا ليس احتفالًا اجتماعيًا فحسب، بل طاعة لله، وتفاني ومحبة وإخلاص أمام الله وأمام الناس.
لمن يفكر في الزواج، يجب أن يتذكّر أن أهم شيء هو الحياة مع المسيح. الزواج الدنيوي لا يمكن أن يحل محل علاقتنا الروحية بالله. وحتّى في السماء:
(متى 22:30 — ترجمة فان دايك)«فِي الْقِيَامَةِ لاَ يَتَزَوَّجُونَ وَلاَ يُعْطَوْنَ لِزَوَاجٍ، بَلْ يَكُونُونَ مِثْلَ الْمَلائِكَةِ فِي السَّمَاءِ.»
الحياة الأبدية مرتبطة بعلاقتنا مع الله وليس بنظام الأرض فقط.
الزواج بركة عظيمة من الله، ويعكس علاقته المقدسة معنا.لكن العزوبية أيضًا دعوة قيّمة وتمنح قدرة على خدمة الله بكل قلب.في النهاية، الأهم هو طاعة الله، والقداسة، ووضعه في المركز الأول في حياتنا.
مَرَانَاثَا!
هل تعلم أن اليهود كانوا ينتظرون المسيح كل يوم؟كانوا يتضرعون إلى إله السماء والأرض أن يرسل لهم مسيحه، ليخلّصهم من عبودية الرومان ومن خطاياهم. وكان كل واحد منهم يرسم في ذهنه صورة معيّنة عن شكل هذا المسيح وكيف سيظهر.
ولكن كما نقرأ في الكتاب المقدّس، عندما جاء لم يعرفوه… وكان خطؤهم الأكبر هو عدم تمييزهم للزمن! فمتى فقد الإنسان إدراك الزمن، تأتي الأحداث أمامه بصورة مباغتة.
هل رأيت من قبل شخصاً أصيب بفقدان الذاكرة؟تكون حالته صعبة جداً، فقد يرى أحد أقرب الناس إليه ولا يستطيع تمييزه… كل شيء يبدو جديداً غريباً. ولكن حين تعود إليه الذاكرة يفاجأ ويقول: أليس هذا فلاناً؟
وهل رأيت ساعة تعطّلت وفقدت الوقت؟قد يطلع الصباح وأنت ما زلت في سريرك تظن أن الليل لم يمضِ… لأن ساعتك قد فقدت الزمن.
وهذا تماماً ما حدث لليهود. لم يعرفوا وقت افتقاد الرب لهم. كانوا يعلمون أن المسيح قريب، لكنهم لم يظنوا أنه سيأتي في تلك الفترة. تصوّروا أنه سيأتي بعرشٍ ملكي، ويحكم بعصا من حديد، وأن القوة والسلطان سيكونان على كتفه.
لوقا 19: 43–44«فَإِنَّهُ سَتَأْتِي أَيَّامٌ… وَيُحِيطُونَ بِكَ… وَلاَ يَتْرُكُونَ فِيكِ حَجَرًا عَلَى حَجَر، لأَنَّكِ لَمْ تَعْرِفِي زَمَنَ افْتِقَادِكِ».
يا أخي… لكل إنسان زمن افتقاد إلهي!ولا أتحدث عن زمن الحصول على بيت أو مال أو أمور زمنية، بل أتحدث عن زمن نعمة الله. اليهود نالهم الرب بنعمته لكنهم لم يعرفوا زمن الافتقاد، فرفضوه… وحتى اليوم بقوا في حالة تيه. ولكن قريباً سيعرفون خطأهم ويتوبون ويؤمنون بالمخلّص الذي رفضوه منذ أكثر من ألفي عام.
لوقا 12: 54–56«تَعْرِفُونَ أَنْ تُمَيِّزُوا وَجْهَ الأَرْضِ وَالسَّمَاءِ، وَأَمَّا هذَا الزَّمَانُ فَلاَ تُمَيِّزُونَهُ؟»
إن القوة الروحية التي تشعر بأنها تجذبك نحو الله… هذا هو زمن افتقادك. فلا تُهمله، ولا تتأخر!
ونحن اليوم نعيش زمن اقتراب المجيء الثاني للمسيح.العالم يقول: لن يأتي الآن… ما زال الوقت مبكراً!لكن الرب قال إنه سيأتي كالسارق… فجأة، دون أن يعلم أحد!
عندما تخبر الناس أن يسوع قريب من المجيء، أول ما يفعلونه أنهم يرسمون في ذهنهم مسافة زمنية طويلة… وينتظرون أن يظهر ضدّ المسيح بقرونه! دون أن يعرفوا أن مكتب ضدّ المسيح موجود الآن في العالم، ولقبه معروف، والاستعدادات لعلامته قد اكتملت… لم يبقَ إلاّ صوت البوق ليبدأ كل شيء.
هذا هو الزمن الذي يجب أن ندرسه ونفهمه!لنفقد كل شيء إلاّ تمييز الأزمنة، حتى لا نفاجأ بالأحداث.
١ تسالونيكي 5: 1–3«أَمَّا الأَزْمِنَةُ وَالأَوْقَاتُ فَلاَ حَاجَةَ لِي أَنْ أَكْتُبَ إِلَيْكُمْ… لأَنَّكُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ بِالتَّحْقِيقِ أَنَّ يَوْمَ الرَّبِّ كَالسَّارِقِ فِي اللَّيْلِ هكَذَا يَجِيءُ. لأَنَّهُمْ حِينَ يَقُولُونَ: سَلاَمٌ وَأَمَانٌ، يَأْتِيهِمْ هَلاَكٌ بَغْتَةً، كَمَا يَأْتِي الطَّلْقُ لِلْحَامِلِ، فَلاَ يَنْجُونَ».
والرب يباركنا جميعاً.
