🚨 RUN! RUN! RUN! 🚨

We are living in a time where discernment is critical. Not every building with a cross is truly representing Christ. Here are warnings you must heed—rooted in Scripture—for the sake of your soul and eternal destiny:

1. Beware of Prosperity-Only Churches

Churches that focus solely on wealth and material success, claiming that financial prosperity is the ultimate sign of God’s favor, are distorting the Gospel.

“But godliness with contentment is great gain… For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils.”
1 Timothy 6:6,10 (ESV)

Jesus Himself lived humbly, and He warned us against storing treasures on earth (Matthew 6:19–21). The true Gospel leads to eternal life, not temporary riches.

🛑 If a church teaches that being rich is the main evidence that God is with you—RUN!

2. Beware of Churches that Don’t Preach Repentance

A Gospel that ignores repentance is a false gospel. True faith in Christ must involve a turning away from sin.

“Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out.”
Acts 3:19 (ESV)

“Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”
Luke 13:3 (ESV)

🛑 If a church makes you feel comfortable in your sin—BEWARE!

3. Beware of Politicized and Human-Tradition-Based Churches

When churches blend the Word of God with political agendas or cultural ideologies, the purity of the Gospel is compromised.

“See to it that no one takes you captive by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition… and not according to Christ.”
Colossians 2:8 (ESV)

“My kingdom is not of this world.”
John 18:36 (ESV)

🛑 If you can’t distinguish the pulpit from a political platform—BE VERY CAREFUL!

4. Beware of Churches that Neglect Holiness and Sound Doctrine

God is holy—and He commands us to live holy lives. Churches must uphold biblical truth, even when it’s uncomfortable.

“As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.”
1 Peter 1:14–15 (ESV)

“For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching… and will turn away from listening to the truth.”
2 Timothy 4:3–4 (ESV)

🛑 If a church avoids preaching holiness—STAY ALERT!

5. Beware of Giving-Centered Churches that Neglect Love and Faith

Giving is part of worship, but it is not the whole message. Christ taught us to love God, pursue righteousness, and live by faith.

“Woe to you… for you tithe mint and rue and every herb, and neglect justice and the love of God.”
Luke 11:42 (ESV)

“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.”
1 Corinthians 13:13 (ESV)

🛑 If all you hear is about sowing seeds for financial blessing, but never about character, love, or godliness—BEWARE!

6. Beware of Churches that Don’t Preach the Second Coming or the Rapture

A church that never talks about Christ’s return is failing to prepare its people for eternity.

“Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”
Matthew 24:44 (ESV)

“Then we who are alive… will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.”
1 Thessalonians 4:17 (ESV)

🛑 If your church ignores the reality of Christ’s return—BE VIGILANT!

7. Beware of Spiritually Dead Churches that Suppress the Gifts of the Spirit

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are not optional—they are part of the living, active ministry of the Church.

“To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good… to another gifts of healing… to another prophecy…”
1 Corinthians 12:7–10 (ESV)

“Do not quench the Spirit. Do not despise prophecies.”
1 Thessalonians 5:19–20 (ESV)

🛑 If there is no room for the Holy Spirit’s work—healing, prophecy, tongues, and miracles—it may be a dead church. RUN!

🧭 Final Word

Dear believer, not every church is a safe spiritual home. Use discernment, test everything by the Word of God, and seek a church that is Christ-centered, Bible-rooted, Spirit-led, and eternity-focused.

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God.”
1 John 4:1 (ESV)

⚠️ Your eternity is too valuable to risk in the wrong spiritual environment. Choose wisely.

THE SPIRIT OF THE ANTICHRIST AT WORK IN THESE LAST DAYS

On June 25, 2014, Pope Francis, the head of the global Roman Catholic Church, addressed a large crowd at St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican. In his message, he made several statements that stirred theological concern among many Bible-believing Christians. Here is a summary of some of the key points he made:

  • “In Christianity, there is no such thing as seeking Jesus alone.”
  • “Every Christian must belong to a specific church institution.”
  • He further warned that “seeking a personal relationship with Jesus Christ apart from the Church is dangerous and harmful.”
  • The Pope even suggested that a Christian’s identity should reflect their church affiliation — for instance, being called “Michael the Catholic” or “Joseph the Lutheran.”

These statements stand in direct contradiction to core biblical teachings, particularly concerning the personal and saving relationship between Christ and the believer. Scripture emphasizes that salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not through institutional affiliation.

🕊️ Salvation Is Personal, Not Institutional

The Apostle Paul clearly teaches that salvation is a personal experience grounded in faith, not in any human structure or system:

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God — not by works, so that no one can boast.”
(Ephesians 2:8–9, NIV)

Jesus Himself affirmed that He is the only way to God the Father — not the Church, not a denomination, and not a religious leader:

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
(John 14:6, NIV)

Nowhere in the New Testament does it say that a person must belong to a particular church denomination to be saved. In fact, many early believers had no formal church institutions — they met in homes (Acts 2:46), were often persecuted, and were recognized simply as followers of “The Way” (Acts 9:2).

🔥 The Rise of the Harlot Church – Revelation 17

Pope Francis’s remarks resonate strongly with the prophetic warnings found in Revelation 17. The Apostle John describes a symbolic woman:

“The name written on her forehead was a mystery: ‘Babylon the Great, the mother of prostitutes and of the abominations of the earth.’”
(Revelation 17:5, NIV)

In biblical prophecy, a woman often symbolizes a church (see Jeremiah 6:2; 2 Corinthians 11:2). The woman in Revelation 17 is described as a spiritual prostitute — a church that has forsaken true doctrine and fornicated with the kings of the earth (Revelation 17:2). Her title, “Mother of Prostitutes,” suggests that she has given birth to other apostate churches — denominations and religious systems that have similarly compromised the truth.

This “mother church” is widely understood by many Bible scholars and reformers throughout history to represent the Roman Catholic Church, and her “daughters” represent various denominations that have adopted her traditions and practices over God’s Word.

🧱 Unity at the Expense of Truth – The Path Toward the Mark

Today, we are witnessing a global movement toward ecumenism — the idea of uniting all Christian denominations (and even other religions) under a single, inclusive religious system. This unity is being led by Rome and enthusiastically endorsed by Pope Francis, who has held interfaith gatherings with Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and even atheists.

But this unity comes at the cost of biblical truth. Rather than calling the world to repentance and faith in Christ, this movement seeks to erase doctrinal differences in favor of political and social harmony.

This is precisely what sets the stage for the rise of the Antichrist and the enforcement of the Mark of the Beast.

“It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.”
(Revelation 13:16–17, NIV)

This “mark” represents allegiance to a system that rejects God’s truth and demands conformity — possibly through religious registration or denominational affiliation. Many theologians believe that in the future, those who refuse to align with this global religious system will be excluded from economic participation — unable to buy, sell, work, or live freely.

🕊️ The Role of the Holy Spirit – The True Seal

While false religion demands outward conformity, God seals His true people inwardly — by giving them His Holy Spirit.

“If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.”
(Romans 8:9, NIV)

“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”
(Romans 8:14, NIV)

The New Covenant that God promised in Jeremiah 31 is fulfilled in Christ and applied by the Spirit — not by membership in any institution:

“I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people… they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.”
(Jeremiah 31:33–34, NIV)

This clearly shows that each believer is meant to have a direct, personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit — not through a church system or hierarchy.

⚔️ The Coming Persecution of the Faithful

Those who refuse to conform to the coming religious system will face persecution. They will be labeled as divisive, dangerous, or even terrorists, simply because they insist on following Christ alone. Jesus warned of such times:

“You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.”
(Matthew 10:22, NIV)

Some believers who miss the rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:16–17) will later refuse to take the mark and will endure the Great Tribulation — many of them becoming martyrs for the faith (Revelation 7:14; 20:4).

Key Theological Truths to Remember

  1. Salvation is by grace through faith in Christ — not through the Church.
    (Ephesians 2:8–9; John 14:6)
  2. The true Church is the body of Christ, not a denomination or building.
    (1 Corinthians 12:27; Colossians 1:18)
  3. The Holy Spirit is the seal of every believer, not religious affiliation.
    (Ephesians 1:13–14; Romans 8:9)
  4. We must test every teaching against Scripture — even religious authorities.
    (Acts 17:11; 1 John 4:1)
  5. The coming global religious system will oppose personal faith in Jesus.
    (2 Thessalonians 2:3–4; Revelation 13)

🔥 FINAL WARNING

“Having a personal relationship with Jesus is dangerous and harmful.”
Pope Francis (2014)

This statement embodies the spirit of the Antichrist (1 John 4:3) — which seeks to replace the intimate, living relationship God offers through Christ with cold institutionalism and false unity.

In truth, it is not having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that is truly dangerous and eternally destructive.

“Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”
(Matthew 7:23, NIV)

THE CALL: Seek Jesus for yourself. Be filled with the Holy Spirit. Stand firm in the truth. The time is short.

Maranatha — The Lord is coming soon! (1 Corinthians 16:22)

THE THIRD PULL: GOD’S FINAL MOVE BEFORE THE RAPTURE

When our Lord Jesus Christ was on the earth, His ministry unfolded in three distinct phases, each revealing a deeper dimension of God’s plan for salvation and the calling of His elect.

1. The First Pull – Healing, Signs, and Miracles

Jesus began His ministry with a demonstration of divine power—healing the sick, casting out demons, and performing miracles.

“And Jesus went throughout all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction among the people.”
Matthew 4:23, ESV

These miracles were signs to attract attention and show that God was among them, just as bait attracts fish. But just like in fishing, the big fish (true believers) only come close—they don’t commit immediately. This was the first pull: drawing interest through outward manifestations.

2. The Second Pull – Discerning the Hearts of Men

In the second phase, Jesus began to reveal the secrets of people’s hearts, showing that He was not just a prophet, but the Word made flesh.

“Come, see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?”
John 4:29, ESV (The Samaritan woman)

“But Jesus on his part did not entrust himself to them… for he himself knew what was in man.”
John 2:24–25, ESV

This deeper revelation caught the attention of the more sincere seekers—those “big fish” who were not moved by emotion or miracles alone, but by the supernatural discernment of the Word.

3. The Third Pull – The Revealed Word

The final phase of Jesus’ ministry was the pure preaching of the Word of God—calling His disciples into maturity and preparing them for the coming of the Holy Spirit.

“Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.”
John 17:17, ESV

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”
Matthew 24:35, ESV

Today, the Church is in the Third Pull, a prophetic time where the revealed Word—not signs and wonders—is what prepares the Bride for the Rapture.

A Prophetic Pattern Revealed to William Branham

Brother William Branham, a prophet to this generation, was visited by the Angel of the Lord and shown a vision of catching big fish. The angel taught him that the same pattern Jesus used is what God is using again in this last day:

  • First Pull – Healing and miracles: attracts the crowd
  • Second Pull – Prophetic discernment: reveals hearts, draws true seekers
  • Third Pull – The Spoken Word: a return to the pure Word that calls out the Bride

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
Matthew 4:4, ESV

The Third Pull is not just another revival or movement—it is God’s final move before the Rapture. It is the call to the Bride of Christ to come out of religious systems and be sanctified by the Word.

Why Signs and Miracles Are Not Enough

Signs are not the goal—they are the invitation. Many were healed by Jesus, but few followed Him to the cross. The true elect are not just looking for miracles—they are looking for truth.

“An evil and adulterous generation seeks for a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.”
Matthew 16:4, ESV

In this day, the message is the sign.

Final Word to Believers

We are no longer in the days of only signs and wonders—we are in the hour of the revealed Word, the Third Pull. This is the final preparation of the Bride of Christ before the catching away.

“Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.”
1 Thessalonians 4:17, ESV

We urge every believer: Press beyond the outer court. Go deeper than emotions and experiences. Hear what the Spirit is saying through the Word today.

God bless you richly as you walk in the Light of the Third Pull.

Have You Been Baptized with the True Baptism?

One of the most important commands that the Lord Jesus Christ gave to the Church is baptism.

Alongside other Christian practices—such as communion, foot-washing among believers, and women covering their heads during worship—baptism holds special significance. It symbolizes repentance and the forgiveness of sins, marking the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3-4, NIV). However, Satan has distorted baptism so that it is often not performed correctly, knowing its power to transform a believer’s life. This deception has been ongoing since the beginning—to twist God’s Word and prevent people from fully embracing God’s truth.

The Question of Baptismal Formula

Today, many churches baptize people—or even infants—by sprinkling water, using the phrase from Matthew 28:19 (NIV):
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

But the question remains: Is this baptismal formula biblically accurate in its intended meaning and practice?

Understanding the Name of Jesus in Scripture

Because of a lack of spiritual revelation and understanding of the Scriptures, many church leaders have abandoned the biblical truth. They have adopted pagan-influenced teachings, and some even knowingly hide the truth for fear of losing their status. Jesus warned against such hypocrisy (Matthew 23:13, NIV):
“Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You shut the door of the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. You yourselves do not enter, nor will you let those enter who are trying to.”

In John 5:42-43 (NIV), Jesus says:
“But I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts. I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.”

This passage makes it clear that Jesus’ name represents His Father’s name and authority. Theologically, this supports the unity of Jesus with the Father, consistent with the doctrine of the unity of the Godhead (John 10:30).

Jesus further said in John 14:26 (NIV):
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

This indicates that the Holy Spirit also comes in Jesus’ name, showing the divine unity and the authority carried by the name of Jesus.

Matthew 1:20 (NIV) says:
“Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.”

Here, the Holy Spirit (often called the Father in a functional or relational sense) is active in the incarnation of Jesus Christ—indicating the indivisible nature of the Godhead in the work of salvation.

The Trinity: Titles vs. Names

The terms Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are titles that describe the roles within the Godhead rather than separate names. For example, a man can be a father, a husband, and a grandfather but still have only one name, such as John. Similarly, the Bible teaches there is one God (Deuteronomy 6:4) with one name—Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:9-11).

Baptism in the Early Church

Throughout the New Testament, baptism is consistently performed in the name of Jesus Christ, not by using the phrase “Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.” This practice affirms Jesus’ supreme authority and the power of His name.

  • Acts 2:37-38 (NIV):
“Peter replied, ‘Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.’”
  • Acts 8:12 (NIV):
“But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.”
  • Acts 8:14-17 (NIV):
“When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to them. When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit, because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.”
  • Acts 10:48 (NIV):
“So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.”
  • Acts 19:2-6 (NIV):
“Paul asked, ‘Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?’ They answered, ‘No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy Spirit.’ Paul asked, ‘Then what baptism did you receive?’ ‘John’s baptism,’ they replied. Paul said, ‘John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, Jesus.’ On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.”

These examples show the apostolic practice of baptism in Jesus’ name, reinforcing the authority and power in His name (Philippians 2:9-11).

The Meaning and Mode of Baptism

The Greek word for baptism, baptizo, means “to immerse or dip.” Baptism, therefore, should be by full immersion in water, symbolizing the believer’s death to sin and resurrection to new life in Christ (Romans 6:3-4). Sprinkling or pouring water, especially on infants, is not supported by Scripture.

Additionally, baptism requires repentance and faith, which infants cannot demonstrate. Baptism is for those who consciously repent and receive forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ.

The Biblical Warning Against False Teachings

Dear Christian, avoid traditions Jesus called “the yeast of the Pharisees” (Luke 12:1). Seek the truth, be willing to change, and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in all truth (John 16:13). Protect your salvation above all else. Love God, love the truth, and love the Bible.

If your pastor teaches baptism differently, lovingly ask why. If they are unaware, encourage them to align with Scripture.

Call to True Baptism

If you have never been baptized or were baptized incorrectly, it is vital to be baptized again—in the name of JESUS CHRIST for the forgiveness of your sins. True baptism is essential for salvation and spiritual growth.

The Seven Seals

In the book of Revelation, chapter 5, we see God seated on His throne, holding a scroll in His right hand that is written on both sides and sealed with seven seals. No one in heaven or on earth was worthy to open the scroll or even look inside it.

This scroll contains all the mysteries of humanity’s redemption—from beginning to end—which moved John to tears because no one was worthy to open or read it. But then one appeared who was worthy: the Lord Jesus Christ! Hallelujah! (See Revelation 5 fully)

The First Seal

Revelation 6:1-2 (ESV): “Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, ‘Come!’ And I looked, and behold, a white horse! Its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer.”

Here we see the four living creatures and the four horses. The living creatures symbolize the power of God given to believers to combat evil and the schemes of the enemy.

  • The first creature was like a lion.
  • The second, like an ox.
  • The third, like a human.
  • The fourth, like a flying eagle.

The first seal represents the spirit of the Antichrist emerging in the early Church. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 warns: “Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction.”

The early Church overcame this antichrist spirit through the courage of the lion-spirit—the power of God. This period lasted approximately from AD 53 to 170 in the Church of Ephesus.

The Second Seal

Revelation 6:3-4 (ESV): “When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, ‘Come!’ And another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.”

Here, the Antichrist changes tactics after failing the first attempt—from deception to violence. During Roman rule and later Church persecutions (AD 354 onwards), millions of Christians were killed for their faith. Yet God left the power of the Holy Spirit, symbolized by the ox, to overcome this assault.

Romans 8:36: “…as it is written, ‘For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.’”

The Third Seal

Revelation 6:5 (ESV): “When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, ‘Come!’ And I looked, and behold, a black horse! Its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine.’”

After the bloodshed of Christians, the Antichrist oppressed the Church through deception and economic control—the “Dark Ages” from roughly 500–1500 AD. Yet God preserved a faithful remnant through wisdom and the work of the Holy Spirit.

The Fourth Seal

Revelation 6:7-8 (ESV): “When he opened the fourth seal, I looked, and behold, a pale horse! Its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. They were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, famine, pestilence, and by wild beasts.”

This seal shows the combined effect of the first three forces—deception, violence, and oppression—working in the last age of the Church.

The Fifth Seal

Revelation 6:9-11 (ESV): “When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had borne. They cried out with a loud voice, ‘O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you will judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?’”

These souls symbolize martyrs—from early Christians to those who suffered under the Holocaust. They receive white robes as a sign of salvation through faithfulness.

Romans 9:6: “For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel.”

The Sixth Seal

Revelation 6:12-17 (ESV): “When he opened the sixth seal, I looked, and behold, there was a great earthquake; the sun became black as sackcloth, the moon became like blood, and the stars of the sky fell to the earth…”

This describes the great Day of the Lord (Matthew 24:29-30) at the end of the Tribulation, followed by the rapture of the saints.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17: “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the archangel’s call, and with the sound of the trumpet of God…”

The Seventh Seal

Revelation 8:1 (ESV): “When the Lamb opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.”

This seal prepares the stage for final judgment and the great rapture. The seventh angel, represented by Jesus Himself (Revelation 10:1-4), delivers the final message to prepare the Church—the Bride—for the rapture.

Shalom!

HAVE YOU TRULY RECEIVED THE HOLY SPIRIT?

Today, many Christians believe they have received the Holy Spirit simply because they can speak in tongues, prophesy, or perform miracles. However, the Bible reveals that there is a difference between being anointed by the Spirit and being baptized or indwelt by the Spirit. The presence of spiritual gifts does not necessarily mean someone is born again or sealed for eternal life.

⚠️ THE ANOINTING VS. THE INDWELLING

It is possible to be used by the Holy Spirit outwardly—preaching, casting out demons, healing the sick—and yet not be indwelt by Him. Even Judas Iscariot performed miracles along with the other disciples, but he was not saved.

Matthew 10:1
“And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.”

Yet, Jesus said this to the same group:

Acts 1:4-5
“…wait for the promise of the Father… For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.”

This shows that spiritual power can be given before someone is truly baptized with the Holy Spirit. This is a crucial distinction in biblical pneumatology (the study of the Holy Spirit).

SIGNS AND WONDERS DO NOT GUARANTEE SALVATION

Jesus warned us not to rely on miracles as proof of salvation:

Matthew 7:22-23
“Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

This shows that spiritual gifts can function in people who are not truly converted. What matters is relationship with Christ, not mere activity.

Luke 10:20
“Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.”

🧠 VESSELS OF POWER VS. VESSELS OF SALVATION

God can use anyone—even unwilling or unrighteous people—for His purposes.

Numbers 22:28
“And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee…?”

If God used a donkey, He can use anyone. This is instrumental use, not relational indwelling.

Many people today are used by God but are not known by God.

Romans 11:29
“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”

This verse teaches that God’s gifts are irrevocable, meaning someone may retain spiritual gifts even if they fall away from the truth. This reinforces the need to examine one’s spiritual condition, not just gifting.

🔥 TRUE EVIDENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT: A TRANSFORMED LIFE

The primary sign of the Holy Spirit’s indwelling is not tongues, prophecy, or visions—but a changed life.

2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Romans 8:15-16
“For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption… The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.”

A believer who has received the Holy Spirit walks in obedience, grows in Christlikeness, and seeks holiness.

Galatians 5:22-23
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance…”

The fruit—not the gifts—are the true marks of spiritual maturity and indwelling.

IS SPEAKING IN TONGUES THE ONLY EVIDENCE?

Some denominations teach that tongues are the only proof of receiving the Holy Spirit, but Scripture disagrees.

1 Corinthians 12:29-30
“Are all apostles? are all prophets?… do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?”

The answer is no. The Holy Spirit gives different gifts to different members of the Body of Christ. Tongues may occur, especially at initial baptism in the Spirit (Acts 2:4), but they are not a requirement or the only sign of His presence.

💡 HOW TO RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Spirit is not earned by works, religious acts, or spiritual displays. He is given to those who believe in Jesus, repent of their sins, and ask with a sincere heart.

Acts 2:38-39
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”

Luke 11:13
“…how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?”

Receiving the Spirit requires a repentant heart, genuine faith, and submission to Christ.

🔐 SEALED FOR SALVATION

The Holy Spirit is God’s seal upon the believer—a mark of ownership and guarantee of redemption.

Ephesians 4:30
“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.”

Romans 8:9
“Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.”

This verse confirms the theology of regeneration: without the Holy Spirit, there is no salvation.

EXAMINE YOURSELF

Ask yourself honestly:

  • Have I truly repented of sin?
  • Do I walk in holiness and truth?
  • Has my life been transformed by Christ?
  • Is the fruit of the Spirit growing in me?

2 Corinthians 13:5
“Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves…”

Don’t settle for spiritual activity. Seek true transformation.

🙏 DON’T BE DECEIVED BY SIGNS

Miracles, tongues, and power may be present in someone’s life, but that doesn’t always mean they are truly saved. God can use anyone, but only those who are born again and filled with the Holy Spirit will enter His Kingdom.

Let us not seek just the power of the Spirit—but the presence, the seal, and the indwelling that leads to eternal life.

John 3:5
“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

The Role of Women in the Church

What is the proper role of a woman in the church? Can she serve as a pastor or bishop?

The Apostle Paul clearly instructs the church regarding women’s role in public worship and leadership:

“The women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says. If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.”
(1 Corinthians 14:34-35)

This passage reflects the created order God established, where women are not to assume authoritative teaching or governance roles over men in the gathered church. This order is not cultural but rooted in divine creation and God’s design for the church’s harmony (1 Corinthians 11:3).

Paul expands on this divine order in Ephesians:

“Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, His body, and is Himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.”
(Ephesians 5:22-24)

This analogy demonstrates the spiritual representation of the wife to the church, illustrating mutual submission with distinct roles. The husband leads lovingly as Christ leads the church, and the wife follows as the church follows Christ.

Context on Authority and Creation

Paul’s instruction in 1 Timothy clarifies the reason for this order:

“Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. For Adam was formed first, then Eve; and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor.”
(1 Timothy 2:11-14)

This passage grounds the church’s leadership structure in the creation narrative (Genesis 2-3), showing that God’s ordering of authority precedes the Fall and is tied to the roles He assigned at creation. Eve’s deception led to the Fall, but this does not diminish her worth or dignity—rather, it explains the reason for leadership roles as an expression of God’s sovereign order.

Spiritual Gifts vs. Church Offices

It is important to distinguish between spiritual gifts and church offices. Spiritual gifts (charismata) are diverse and given to both men and women for the edification of the church:

“Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.”
(1 Corinthians 12:4-7)

These gifts include prophecy, healing, speaking in tongues, and teaching gifts that edify the body but do not necessarily carry authoritative leadership over the church.

However, the fivefold ministry offices listed in Ephesians 4:11 —

“And He gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers…”
(Ephesians 4:11)

— are leadership roles responsible for building up the church’s structure and doctrine. Historically and biblically, these offices have been filled by men, reflecting God’s established order.

Consequences of Disobedience

Jesus Himself warned against false assurance based on miraculous works apart from obedience to God’s will:

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’”
(Matthew 7:21-23)

Thus, spiritual gifts or miracles alone do not validate a ministry outside God’s ordained order.

Summary

  • Women are called to learn, grow, and exercise spiritual gifts within God’s design.
  • Leadership offices (apostle, prophet, evangelist, pastor, teacher) are biblically reserved for men.
  • Submission to God’s order reflects faithfulness and harmony in the church and family.
  • Spiritual gifts such as prophecy, healing, and tongues are available to both genders for edification.
  • True ministry success is measured by obedience to God’s Word, not by miracles or popularity.

May God bless your understanding and service according to His Word.

THE RAPTURE

It is widely known that the rapture will be a sudden event— in the twinkling of an eye, millions of people will disappear, panic will spread across the earth, planes will crash, accidents will happen everywhere, and peace will vanish instantly. People will wail and mourn as the Antichrist rises from the abyss to bring destruction across the world.

But is this truly how the rapture will happen according to Scripture?

Let us read:

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17 – “For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

Examining this passage, we see that the coming of the Lord Jesus for His Church involves three distinct stages:

  1. The Lord will descend with a SHOUT

  2. The Lord will descend with the VOICE OF THE ARCHANGEL

  3. The Lord will descend with the TRUMPET OF GOD

This indicates that the rapture is not simply an instantaneous, chaotic event as commonly imagined. Instead, Scripture presents a sequence of stages that will unfold as the time approaches. Let us examine these three stages in detail.

Stage One: The SHOUT

The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, “the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout.”
The word “shout” here does not refer to an invitation to a social gathering, but rather a powerful commanding cry—a jubilant proclamation announcing the arrival of someone of great importance, such as a king or a bridegroom. It serves to awaken and prepare those who are waiting so that the event does not catch them unaware.

In the King James Version, it reads:

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a SHOUT…”

The term “shout” here implies a commanding call, awakening and alerting the intended hearers to prepare for the imminent event.

Jesus illustrated this in the parable of the ten virgins:

Matthew 25:1–6“At midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’”

At midnight all the virgins were asleep, their strength waning as they waited for the bridegroom. Suddenly, there was a loud cry awakening them: “Behold! The bridegroom is coming!” This cry parallels the “shout” of 1 Thessalonians 4:16—a spiritual awakening that rouses the Bride of Christ to prepare her lamp (symbolizing her life) and ensure she has oil (the Holy Spirit, along with spiritual revelation) in readiness.

The Historical Fulfillment of the Shout

Historically, the Church endured a long period of spiritual darkness—the so-called “Dark Ages”—as false doctrines and compromise infiltrated Christianity. The Bride was asleep. But as the time for Christ’s return drew nearer, God sent a series of revivals to awaken the Church:

  • Martin Luther (the fifth church age messenger, Revelation 3:1–6) brought the message of justification by faith, calling believers out of the false traditions of the medieval church.

  • John Wesley (the sixth church age messenger, Revelation 3:7–13) followed with the message of sanctification and holiness, further restoring the Bride’s readiness.

  • Finally, in the Laodicean age (Revelation 3:14–22), the seventh church age messenger, William Branham, sounded the final, loudest call, proclaiming, “Behold, the Bridegroom is coming! Come out and meet Him!”

This “shout” represents the end-time awakening—a call to holiness and separation from religious systems (Revelation 18:4: “Come out of her, my people…”), urging believers to trim their lamps and be filled with the Holy Spirit.

Jesus warned in Luke 12:35–37:

“Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching.”

Those who heed the shout will progress to the next stage. Those who ignore it—remaining content in religious forms without the Spirit—will find themselves unprepared, like the foolish virgins whose lamps went out.

Stage Two: The VOICE OF THE ARCHANGEL

The second phase, mentioned in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, says: “the Lord will descend with the voice of the archangel.”

Who is this Archangel? Scripture identifies this mighty messenger as none other than the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. In Revelation 10:1–7, John saw:

“…another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud… He had in his hand a little book open… and he cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices… In the days of the sounding of the seventh angel… the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.”

The “mighty angel” holds the little book open, which represents the Book of Redemption—sealed with seven seals in Revelation 5, now fully opened. His roaring voice, like a lion’s, releases seven thunders, mysteries that John was forbidden to write (Revelation 10:4). These are end-time revelations given exclusively to the Bride, imparting the perfect faith needed to be translated.

Jesus is called the “Messenger of the Covenant” in Malachi 3:1:

“…the Lord whom you seek will suddenly come to His temple, even the Messenger of the covenant…”

This voice will not be heard by the entire world—only by the wise virgins who responded to the first stage (the Shout) and have prepared their lamps with oil.

The “voice of the Archangel” thus represents the final unveiling of divine mysteries, equipping the Bride with the rapturing faith needed for her transformation (Romans 10:17: “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”).

Stage Three: The TRUMPET OF GOD

Finally, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 declares that the Lord will descend with the “trumpet of God.”
In Scripture, a trumpet signifies a summons to gather—for Israel, it was a call to assembly, warfare, or a holy convocation (Numbers 10:1–4).

At this last trumpet, “the dead in Christ will rise first” (1 Corinthians 15:51–52). Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. This is the final stage of the rapture, when mortality is “swallowed up by life” (2 Corinthians 5:4).

The trumpet signals the resurrection and translation of the saints—the completion of the redemption purchased by Christ.

A Final Warning

We are living in the separation hour:

  • The wise virgins are trimming their lamps, filled with oil and extra oil (the Spirit and fresh revelation).

  • The foolish virgins continue with empty lamps, distracted by traditions and worldliness.

Jesus warned:

Matthew 24:42 – “Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.”

Those who reject the Shout will miss the Voice, and without the Voice, they will never hear the Trumpet. Today is the time to respond—by receiving the Holy Spirit, walking in holiness, and living according to the revealed Word of God.

Understanding Daniel’s Seventy (70) Weeks

The prophecy of Daniel’s seventy weeks (Daniel 9:24-27) is a foundational eschatological timeline focused on God’s plan for Israel and the coming Messiah. Each “week” represents seven years (a prophetic “week” = 7 years), making seventy weeks equal to 490 years (70 × 7 = 490).

Significance of the 70 Weeks

1. Divine Purpose for Israel:
God’s decree in Daniel 9:24 shows that these 490 years were appointed “to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.” This emphasizes God’s sovereign plan to redeem His covenant people, the Jews, and fulfill messianic prophecy.

2. The Role of the Messiah:
Daniel 9:25-26 outlines the coming of the “Anointed One” (Messiah), who will appear after the first 7 weeks plus 62 weeks (69 weeks total). The Messiah’s death (“cut off”) is prophesied, which Christian theology identifies as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ (cf. Isaiah 53:5; Acts 3:18).

Breakdown of the Timeline

First 7 Weeks (49 years):
The rebuilding of Jerusalem and its streets, including the Second Temple, occurred under Persian decree (Ezra 6:15). This period was marked by hardship but fulfilled God’s promise to restore Jerusalem Daniel 9:25

“Seven ‘sevens’ and sixty-two ‘sevens’; it will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble.”.

Next 62 Weeks (434 years):
This period leads up to the appearance of the Messiah. The culmination is the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, which theology teaches is the atoning sacrifice for humanity’s sin (Hebrews 9:26; Romans 5:8).

Final Week (7 years):
The last week represents a future period commonly associated with the end times and the great tribulation (Revelation 11:3-6; Matthew 24:15-21). The Antichrist (the “prince who is to come” in Daniel 9:27) will confirm a covenant with Israel for seven years, but break it halfway through, stopping temple sacrifices (cf. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).

Clarifications and Misunderstandings

  • The prophecy explicitly says the Messiah will be killed after the 62 weeks, not halfway through the final week (Daniel 9:26: “After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death…”).
  • The ruler who destroys Jerusalem (AD 70) is the Antichrist figure who comes after the Messiah’s death, not the Messiah himself (Luke 21:20-24).
  • The “abomination that causes desolation” (Daniel 9:27) points to the desecration of the temple during the tribulation (Matthew 24:15).

Application for Believers

Biblical Authority: Always test teachings against Scripture (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The prophet William Branham emphasized that the Bible is the ultimate authority and nothing should contradict it.

God’s Faithfulness: The timeline demonstrates God’s faithfulness to His promises and prophetic Word.

Hope in Christ: The prophecy centers on Jesus as the Messiah who brings redemption and justice.

Eschatological Vigilance: Believers are called to remain watchful and steadfast as the final week approaches (Matthew 24:42; 2 Peter 1:10:

“Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election…”).

May this clearer understanding encourage you to deepen your study of God’s prophetic Word and strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ.

THE GOSPEL THROUGH THE LENS OF TECHNOLOGY

How Modern Inventions Are Echoing the Message of Jesus’ Return

God has always communicated with His people in different ways throughout history. While His character remains constant (Malachi 3:6), His methods often adapt to the generation He’s speaking to. In every age, God raises a message specific to that time—a message that must be spiritually discerned.

For instance, the message given to the early church was not exactly the same as that given in the time of Israel’s wandering in the wilderness. Likewise, the message for the last-day Church differs in focus and urgency.

Missing the Message of the Hour

When Jesus came in the fullness of time (Galatians 4:4), many religious leaders—Pharisees, Sadducees, and teachers of the Law—could not accept Him because they were stuck in past revelations. They honored Moses’ law, yet missed the One Moses spoke about.

Deuteronomy 18:15
“The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brethren. Him you shall hear.”

Jesus was that Prophet. Yet because they didn’t recognize the message of their hour, they clung to traditions and rejected the very Messiah they had been waiting for (John 1:11).

HOW GOD SPEAKS TODAY: LESSONS FROM TECHNOLOGY

Today, in this final generation, God is still speaking—through Scripture, through the Holy Spirit, through creation (Psalm 19:1–2), and even through technology. As strange as that may sound, if we look closer, we’ll see that the technological advancements of our day preach the Gospel in powerful symbolic ways.

1. MOBILE PHONES & DIGITAL COMMUNICATION

Symbol of Instant Communication With God

Modern technology enables instant communication. Through a smartphone, you can speak face-to-face with someone across the world in real-time. Global news spreads in seconds. The world is, as people say, “a global village.”

This reflects a spiritual reality: in these last days, believers must have a direct and instant line of communication with God through the Holy Spirit.

John 16:13
“When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth…”

Just as you can’t function well in today’s society without a phone, you can’t navigate these deceptive last days without the Holy Spirit. The world is full of noise, misinformation, and false teachings. Only those led by the Spirit can remain anchored in the truth.

Jeremiah 31:33–34
“I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts… they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them…”

This prophecy is fulfilled in the New Covenant through the indwelling Holy Spirit (see also Hebrews 8:10–11). In this age, we are no longer dependent on priests or prophets to access God’s voice—we can hear directly from Him.

False Prophets and the Danger of Disconnection

In Matthew 24, Jesus warned of a time when deception would be so strong that even the elect could be misled.

Matthew 24:24–25
“For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand.”

In such times, having the Holy Spirit is not optional—it’s essential. The Spirit is both our teacher and alarm system (1 John 2:27).

Spiritual Application: Do You Have “Network Access”?

Just like a phone without a SIM card or network connection is useless for calls, so is a person without the Spirit—disconnected from divine instruction. Jesus said:

John 10:27
“My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.”

If we don’t recognize His voice now, how will we respond when He calls us to meet Him in the air?

2. AIRPLANES & SPACE TRAVEL

Symbol of the Rapture and Preparedness

Air travel was once thought impossible. Today, humans fly not only across continents but into space. This mirrors a great spiritual event to come: the Rapture—when Jesus returns to take His Bride.

1 Thessalonians 4:16–17
“Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air…”

Air travel teaches us a lesson about preparation. You can’t just show up at the airport and expect to fly. You need:

  • A ticket

  • Advance booking

  • Timely arrival for check-in

Likewise, your ticket to the Rapture is the seal of the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 1:13–14
“You were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance…”

If you don’t have the Holy Spirit, you haven’t “booked” your seat in the flight of the saints. Just like airlines won’t accept late or unregistered passengers, neither will the heavenly flight include those who aren’t ready.

What About You?

You wouldn’t dream of going without your phone in today’s world—yet many go days, weeks, or months without prayer, without the Word, and without seeking the Spirit. Do you think you’ll be ready for Jesus’ return with that kind of neglect?

Romans 8:9
“…If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.”

THE FINAL CALL: REPENTANCE & READINESS

God has allowed these technological breakthroughs in our generation for a reason: to give us a living sermon. The smartphone preaches. The airplane preaches. The internet preaches. Are we listening?

Many people today are distracted by worldliness, immorality, spiritual laziness, and compromise. The Bible warns that such things grieve the Spirit (Ephesians 4:30) and hinder fellowship with God.

2 Corinthians 6:14
“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers… What partnership has righteousness with lawlessness?”

If your closest friends are ungodly, if your lifestyle mirrors the world, and if your speech is full of gossip or vulgarity—how will the Holy Spirit live within you?

1 Corinthians 6:19–20
“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit…?”

James 4:4
“…Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?”

THE TIME IS NOW

You’ve heard the Gospel before. But hearing isn’t enough.

Romans 13:11
“…It is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.”

You won’t be able to blame God if you’re left behind. Everything around you—even your phone—is testifying to the urgency of the hour.

There are true, Spirit-filled believers living in this very generation, overcoming sin and walking in holiness—and they will judge the world (1 Corinthians 6:2). If they can do it, so can you.

GET YOUR TICKET WHILE SEATS LAST

Jesus is not the one we’re waiting for. He is waiting for us. The spiritual airplane is ready. The final boarding call is near. But only those with the Holy Spirit will hear it.

Revelation 22:17
“And the Spirit and the bride say, ‘Come!’ And let him who hears say, ‘Come!’…”

Don’t miss the flight. Don’t live offline from God. Don’t wait until the gates are closed.

Seek the Holy Spirit. He is the seal, the signal, the ticket, and the voice that will guide you safely home.

God bless you.
