It is important to understand that within Christianity, there are three categories of believers. Understanding this will help us examine ourselves to see which group we belong to, and what steps we should take to ensure we are standing on the safe side. The First Group: This group consists of people who call themselves Christians. These may be people born into Christian families or those who adopted Christianity simply as a new religion — or merely as an identity. They are easy to identify: they have no relationship with God at all. What sets them apart from the world is only the label of Christianity they were born with or accepted. But in all other aspects, their lives are no different from those who don’t know God. Ask them if they know the Rapture is near, and they’ll say, “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Ask if they are saved, and they’ll say, “I don’t know that religion.” They know nothing about worship, prayer, or the things of God. They live like pagans, yet proudly identify as Christians. And these are very many. The Second Group: These are Christians who believe in everything. They know the Scriptures. They attend church services, but they are lukewarm — half for God and half for Satan. The Bible compares them to the foolish virgins in Matthew 25. They are also referred to as concubines, without a true union with Christ. These are the ones who will weep and mourn when they realize they have been left behind at the Rapture, because they, too, were expecting Christ. But due to their lukewarmness, they will be left. These, too, are many in the church. The Third Group: These are Christians who are truly determined to follow the way of Christ. Christianity is not just a religion to them — it is their faith. They are like the wise virgins who took their lamps along with extra oil in their vessels. These are the Bride of Christ, whom Christ is preparing throughout the Church Age. And they are very few in the church. What’s important to understand is that, among these three groups of people calling themselves Christians, only one group will be raptured to Heaven — that is, the third group. The Lord Jesus is not coming for concubines or lukewarm people. He is preparing His Bride, whether she is one, a hundred, or a thousand — numbers don’t matter. Once the number is fulfilled, He is not concerned about what the world thinks. They will be raptured and taken to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. How to Recognize the True Bride of Christ As many of us know, the story of Abraham sending a servant to find a wife for his son Isaac from his own family’s household reveals a spiritual mystery — a prophetic symbol of how Christ will find His Bride in the last days. When we read the story, we see a time came when Abraham realized his son Isaac was now a grown man. His mother had died, and he was alone with no one to comfort him. So Abraham saw it best to find a wife for him. He sent his most trusted servant — Eliezer — with ten camels, on a journey from Canaan to Mesopotamia (his homeland), to find a suitable bride. In the same way, God did not find a Bride for His Son, Jesus Christ, from among Israel, but rather went far — to the Gentiles (you and me) — to take us to be with Him on His throne. The Journey to Find the Bride Eliezer traveled hundreds of kilometers with his ten camels, possibly taking weeks or months. He arrived at a well outside the city where many young women came in the evening to draw water for their homes. As the story goes, Eliezer prayed for a sign. He said: Genesis 24:12-14 (KJV)“O Lord God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and show kindness unto my master Abraham.Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water:And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink;and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also:let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast showed kindness unto my master.” And before he had even finished praying, Rebekah appeared with her water jar on her shoulder. She fulfilled the exact sign Eliezer had asked for — offering him water and also watering all ten of his camels. Watering 10 Camels – Not a Simple Task If you continue reading, you’ll see this confirmed for Eliezer that Rebekah was the one God had chosen. At first glance, his prayer may seem simple, but it was a major test. Think of it: Rebekah was a young girl with only a small jar — maybe 10 liters (about one bucket). Camels drink fast and in huge quantities. One camel can drink up to 200 liters in just a few minutes. Ten camels would need around 2000 liters of water! That means Rebekah would have had to go down the well and back up at least 200 times. A task typically done by strong men, not young girls. Yet she did it — without hesitation — while Eliezer watched silently, waiting to see if she would give up. But she didn’t. That’s when he knew she was the one. What Does This Reveal to the Church Today? Eliezer represents the servants of God, sent out to preach the Gospel across the world — to find and prepare a pure Bride for Christ, just as Apostle Paul says: 2 Corinthians 11:2 (KJV)“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.” Just like Eliezer had a sign to recognize the Bride, God’s servants also have signs to identify the Bride of Christ. And the sign is similar: the willingness to go beyond what is expected. If we hear the Gospel but only do the bare minimum — such as repenting, getting baptized, and stopping there — then we’re not the Bride. If we don’t seek God for ourselves, don’t pray unless pushed, don’t study the Word unless someone teaches us on Sundays, then we are just concubines — foolish virgins who will be left behind. The true Bride, like Rebekah, is not content with doing the minimum. She does more. Like the wise virgins in Matthew 25, who took extra oil for their lamps. They knew just enough wouldn’t be sufficient. Don’t depend only on being preached to. These Are Perilous Times Those who will be raptured are very few. Let us pray and also add personal diligence, that we may be counted among the true Bride of Christ. Matthew 25:10 (KJV)“And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.” May the Lord bless you abundantly.Join our channel by clicking here >> WHATSAPP
