QUESTION: May I understand, what do the words above the cross of the Lord Jesus (I.N.R.I)/INRI mean?, I have always seen in the pictures of the Cross, but I do not find it anywhere in the Bible?
ANSWER: When we read the book of John chapter 19 verses 19-20 the Bible says.
“And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews. 20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin”.

As we read, On the cross of the Lord Jesus, Pilate wrote a title which explains who he was. Now the words “JESUS the Nazarene, the King of the Jews”… in Latin (or, Roman), it reads … “Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum.” Or shortly I.N.R.I…
Now most of the denominations, especially Catholic, Anglican and Lutheran, like to use that word INRI to represent the words written on the cross of Jesus.
But the fact is that on the cross, the words were not written in short, but they were written in the same way as it was in all three languages, so that everyone who passed by could read it, and that’s why the Pharisees told Pilate, “Do not write, that this is the King of the Jews; but write that he calls himself, the king of the Jews” … You see? it implies that the texts were completely read and not that it was written in short.
But despite all of this, examining the cross in shape, color or texture..investigating it whether it was too long, or too short, or that it was a plus sign, or that it stood as a pillar, or that its writing was written in blue or yellow ink, all that are all less important because they don’t contribute to our salvation? Because even in the same Word JESUS THE NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS, if you read another gospel you will see it says only the KING OF JEWS (Mark 15:26), and another part says THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS (Luke 23:38). Therefore if you translate in Latin (Roman) you will find it quite different from the INRI acronym.
Now that is to teach us that what we need to know is that Christ was crucified on a tree, and that His crucifixion brought about the sinful remission of our lives. This is the essence of the cross, and that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ will receive the remission of his/her sins and the redemption of his/her life, so we should not look at the cross, and glorify it until it has led others to the point of worshiping it and fear it, which is a great abomination in the sight of God. ANSWER: The Bible says in the book of Chronicles
Leviticus 19:28 ” Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord”.
The Lord forbade people from making any cuttings in their flesh because it has to do with the worship of the dead, or superstition, the Lord has never ordered the children of Israel to get helped by those stuffs, Because they were the pagan rites. And the Lord commands the sons of Israel should not to follow their customs … The Lord instructed them that the cure for their diseases was to keep his commandments and not go cutting their bodies.
But he also ordered them not to get any tattoo on their bodies (that is to print the marks). Now many do not know the origin of the tattoo … the ancient people did not get tattoo to their bodies for fashion or beauty purposes, as in the past, the old people tattooed on their bodies for the purpose of worship. It was the worship of the gods, and they were doing so in accordance with the instructions of their gods that if they wanted something, or want to protect themselves from some dangers, they must put the mark on their bodies.
So they may be drawings of certain kinds of animals such as snakes, birds, or sometimes some mysterious names, or symbols of the sun, or the moon etc. And because the devil was behind it then everyone who did it was partially benefiting from satanic spirit … just like a person who is practicing it today, he/she is walking with a particular demon that protects him from certain things related to his beliefs.
But as the years went by, people found tattoos to be beautiful, so without examining the origin of it, they also went to imitation in their hearts thinking that the ancient people were them only for beauty on but they don’t know that they are putting demons into their bodies without their awareness. That will destroy their lives. So any tattooed body already has some demons in it, because the origin of the tattoo or not for beauty purposes but some for magical protection.
And the Bible has warned us that our bodies should be temples of the Holy Spirit.
1Corinthians 6:19 “What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?”.
Remember, the Bible does not say that we who believed in the Lord JESUS are the MOST HOUSE of the Holy Spirit, but it says we are the Temple of Holy Ghost. The temple is different from the ordinary houses, there are many kinds of houses, guest houses, lounges, houses of office etc. but the TEMPLE is a special house for worship only! … now how can a house with a tattoo be a temple of God?, … you see?
so tattooing of any kind is not appropriate. If you tattooed yourself in the past, and now you have given your life to the Lord, well the spirit behind that tattoo is gone but the devil will still have a few reasons to sue you before God, so what you have to do now is to decide to go to get rid of those things. so that the devil will have no reason to sue you … and also your body should not be used to advertise the works of the devil, So unmark all your tattoos on your body now and dedicated to God for worship purposes.Seek the experts that can help you to remove them safely.

ANSWER: Anyone who has entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ, that person in the spirit realm is known as the Beloved of Jesus Christ, and one gets into that relationship by believing in JESUS CHRIST, that he came to die for his/her sins, and that he is the Savior of the world. And believing in him comes only from hearing the Gospel of the Truth preached by his servants (Read 2 Corinthians 11: 2).
And after believing him and repents by turning away from sins and things of the world that defile, and get baptized in water and in the Holy Spirit, now the person who went through all those steps in The spirit world is known as the lover of JESUS CHRIST or Bride of Christ.
Jeremiah 3:14 ” Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you: and I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion”.
Now if this kind of person leaves his or her relationship with Christ and goes back to live a sinful life, despising the Holy Spirit, committing fornication, or worshiping idols, he goes to witch doctors and conduct witchcraft… biblical such a person IS COMMITTING SPIRITUAL FORNICATION, which make God feel jealous and which can even lead to sudden death for such person.
