Who are these people whose place was not found? (Revelation 20:11)
ANSWER: Let’s read.
Revelation 20:11 “And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and no place was found for them ”.
“Those whose their place was not seen” are not humans! .. but are the “HEAVEN AND EARTH”. The translations from other languages are describing it well.
And why do they flee from his face? .. it is because of his glory… because nothing can stand before the face of God, for he is so great and holy !. Even the seraphim in heaven who are holy, still cover their faces and feet before Him..what about other creatures that live on earth?.
Job 41:10 “… .But who can stand before me?
Thus no human being can approach God by his/her holiness. But thanks be to God that there is one who is worthy to draw near to Him, and that He is no other than His only begotten Son JESUS CHRIST whom He overcame and deserved to approach God, and to sit with Him in His throne. He alone is worthy to approach God… and through Him we we have received the opportunity to draw close to God.
Revelation 3:21 “To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”
Revelation 5:11 “And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the living and the elders, and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing.
13 And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and all that is in it, saying, Blessings and honor and glory and power be to him who sits on the throne, and to the Son of man. The sheep, forever and ever ”.
So if we believe in Him and enter into Him, we will find the courage to draw closer to God, which in natural sense would not be possible at all, but it became possible through Jesus, but if we reject Jesus, then we have no confidence and we can never draw near to God, but lost forever in the lake of fire.
Hebrews 10:19 “Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the sanctuary by the blood of Jesus,
20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 And let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water ”.
Shalom.
